Join us in developing and optimizing cutting-edge embedded systems that power our innovative products. The Software Development Engineer plays a key role in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software applications and systems. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-centered software solutions. The role also includes contributing to system architecture, participating in peer code reviews, and staying updated with the latest technologies and industry best practices. Responsibilities Software Development & Implementation: Design, develop, and maintain software applications based on business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and deliver software solutions. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability. Integrate software applications with hardware components. Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless communication between software and hardware systems. Testing & Deployment: Write unit tests and debug software issues. Deploy applications and provide post-deployment support as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proficiency in software development using C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL. Basic understanding of database design and concepts. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective team player with good interpersonal and communication skills. Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git) and code review processes. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Knowledge of Python and C/C++ is a plus. Experience working with microcontrollers is a plus. For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce – Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State – Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
