Description du Poste
En tant que Software Engineer-II, vous ferez partie de l’équipe Scaling Intelligence, chargée de gérer et d’héberger des milliers d’index et de traiter des dizaines de milliers de requêtes par seconde. Ce rôle est essentiel pour l’amélioration de la scalabilité des systèmes de Bloomreach, en utilisant les technologies cloud afin de garantir une performance optimale et la satisfaction des utilisateurs.

Responsabilités
- Optimisation de l’infrastructure de recherche multi-locataire, incluant l’automatisation, la stabilité, l’élasticité et l’efficacité des coûts.
- Développement d’outils et de métriques afin de suivre la performance du système tout en maintenant la disponibilité des services.
- Utilisation de la technologie de machine learning pour l’analyse d’anomalies et l’amélioration de la pertinence des recherches.
- Maintien de normes élevées d’excellence technique au sein de l’équipe.
Profil Recherché
Le candidat idéal doit posséder la curiosité intellectuelle et le désir de comprendre le fonctionnement de la plateforme sémantique de Bloomreach. Les qualités humaines essentielles incluent :

Qualifications
- Diplôme BS/MS en Informatique ou dans des domaines similaires.

- Expérience significative avec AWS ou GCP.
- Compétences en systèmes distribués à grande échelle et multithreading.
- Connaissance de la conteneurisation et de Kubernetes.
- Des expériences avec des moteurs de recherche open-source tels que Lucene, Solr, ou ElasticSearch sont un plus.
- Une familiarité avec les technologies de machine learning et l’optimisation de modèles est appréciée.

Responsibilities:
- Improve Bloomreach’s multi-tenant search infrastructure, in the aspects of automation, stability, elasticity, and cost efficiency.
- Develop tools, processes, and metrics to measure system performance, identify vulnerabilities, and maintain service availability.
- Make use of machine learning technology to assist with anomaly detection and analysis
- Make use of machine learning technology to improve search relevance
- Steward an extremely high bar of technical excellence for the company
Qualifications:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related fields
- 2+ years of experience building enterprise software applications and systems in a corporate or startup engineering environment using Java or Python
- 2+ years experience working with AWS or GCP
- Experience with developing and maintaining distributed systems at scale in a production environment is a must
- Experience with multithreading is a must
- Experience with containerization, Kubernetes is a must
- Experience with open-source search engines Lucene, Solr, and ElasticSearch is a plus
- Experience with machine learning technology (familiar with embedding, vector db, model tuning) is a plus
