Mission et responsabilités

Le candidat retenu rejoindra l’équipe **Digital Solutions**, moteur de la transformation numérique de Vestas et lieu de création d’innovations technologiques. Le rôle consiste à diriger et à développer une équipe de développeurs logiciels répartis sur trois domaines de produits. Les principales responsabilités incluent :

  • Leadership d’équipe : Assurer le développement et la croissance de l’équipe tout en promouvant une culture de collaboration et d’apprentissage continu.
  • Stratégie technique : Définir une stratégie d’ingénierie scalable et durable, et superviser la qualité et la sécurité du code.
  • Collaboration : Travailler en étroite collaboration avec divers intervenants pour garantir une livraison fluide des projets.
  • Amélioration des processus : Établir et améliorer les processus de développement agile.

Qualifications requises

Les candidats doivent avoir au moins **5 ans d’expérience** dans un rôle de leadership technique, ainsi qu’une solide expérience en développement logiciel. Une expertise dans les méthodologies agiles et la direction d’équipes diversifiées est également requise.

  • Expérience en cloud computing et architecture moderne.
  • Compétences en managment et en mentoring.
  • La connaissance des technologies SaaS et des infrastructures cloud est un atout.

Within this, the Simulation Development department plays a critical role in defining how we simulate the physical behavior of our wind turbines and systems across platforms and modules. We are responsible for setting the strategic direction for simulation at Vestas, including the methodologies, tools, and frameworks that ensure our simulations are accurate, scalable, and integrated.Our goal is to build a next-generation simulation management platform – a robust and user-friendly ecosystem that abstracts away complex infrastructure and brings together proprietary, bespoke, and commercial simulation tools in a unified environment. This platform will empower simulation engineers to focus on insights, not integrations, and ensure seamless links to physical test data for validation and continuous improvement.By connecting simulations with real-world test data and embedding advanced software capabilities, we aim to accelerate development cycles, improve predictive accuracy, and create a foundation for smarter, data-driven engineering decisions.Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach, and grow a distributed team of software developers across three product domains
  • Promote a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and collaboration
  • Facilitate career development and performance reviews
  • Technical Strategy & Delivery
  • Define and execute a scalable and sustainable engineering strategy in alignment with product roadmaps
  • Ensure high code quality, performance, security, and maintainability across all products
  • Oversee architectural decisions and technical standards in collaboration with senior engineers
  • Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
  • Support cross-team coordination and dependency management
  • Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities effectively to leadership
  • Process Improvement & Governance
  • Establish and continuously improve agile development processes and tooling
  • Monitor and report on KPIs such as velocity, code quality, and release cadence
  • Manage incident response processes and ensure reliability across environments

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in a senior engineering leadership role across multiple product teams
  • Solid background in software development (current or previous practical experience) with modern tech stacks
  • Experience in scaling agile teams and maturing development practices
  • Solid people leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication abilities
  • Nice to Have:
  • Experience with SaaS, platform-based architectures, or consumer-facing applications
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and microservices
  • Understanding of product lifecycle management across early-stage and mature products
