L’hôpital Duke Health Lake Norman, le plus petit de l’établissement avec 123 lits, propose une gamme complète de services médicaux, y compris des soins d’urgence 24 heures sur 24, ainsi que des spécialités en cardiologie, orthopédie et services aux femmes.

Mission Principale : Le sonographe a pour principale responsabilité d’opérer des équipements sonographiques, d’effectuer des examens diagnostiques et d’en communiquer les résultats. Les examens incluent, mais ne se limitent pas à, l’abdominal, la vascularité, ainsi que l’ob-gyn. Ce poste exige une excellente capacité d’analyse et de jugement, principalement durant les examens, afin de différencier correctement entre des résultats normaux et pathologiques.

Travail Réalisé

• Effectuer des évaluations cliniques et des examens échographiques.
• Utiliser des compétences sonographiques cognitives pour identifier et enregistrer les résultats.
• Assurer le confort mental et physique des patients.
• Participer à la formation d’étudiants en échographie durant leurs rotations cliniques.
• Maintenir l’équipement d’échographie et la zone de travail, tout en veillant à la disponibilité des fournitures nécessaires.
• Collaborer avec les collègues et les fournisseurs pour garantir un soin approprié aux patients.

Compétences et Qualifications Requises

Éducation : Diplôme ou suivi d’un programme répondant aux exigences d’éligibilité pour l’enregistrement/certification.

Expérience : Pas d’expérience requise au-delà des exigences d’éducation/certification. Un certificat ARDMS doit être obtenu dans les 18 mois suivant l’embauche.

Certificats : Certification BLS requise.
