This individual will oversee personnel activities and serve as the functional owner in delivering operational and strategic sourcing services to the enterprise for your assigned category spend portfolio. Your primary objective is reducing OpEx and CapEx annually against our 3rd party spend as well as maintaining strong relationships with our key suppliers. The ability to mitigating short- and long-term risks, while enabling fast-paced decision-making, is a key ingredient for success.In this role, you will be responsible for the entire indirect or direct categories in Technology Sourcing (HW, SW, Networking, Webhosting). This role is suitable for a hands-on self-starter who can personally deliver as well as coach and guide others in delivery. It requires strong industry experience and subject matter expertise in Technology Sourcing. Expertise should include knowledge of industry trends, prominent suppliers, industry procurement strategies and levers, etc.You will be reporting into the Head of Global Procurement and work closely with a local and global team in building a world class organization.What You Will Do

  • Develop Category Management vision, strategies, and objectives to deliver against broader business objectives for your managed categories (Technology) – including market research/benchmarks, milestones, savings targets, supply continuity, resource requirements, and implementation plans.
  • Manage successful execution of a portfolio of initiatives and lead operations related to sourcing and procurement activities for managed categories. Personally lead highly complex/high impact engagements.
  • Perform a leadership role in key procurement activities, including request for proposal (RFx) development and execution, Statement of Work (SOW) contract drafting, and pricing and contract negotiations, while developing and reporting on procurement activity (health and metrics) and recommending changes in methods and procedures based on report outcomes.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and establish a sourcing project pipeline to achieve savings targets and business objectives, while also identifying and executing strategic initiatives to drive maximum cost savings and value creation for the organization.
  • Proactively identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of procurement performance, including overseeing certain supplier performance management initiatives.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a cohesive, high-performing sourcing team that acts as a trusted advisor to key business stakeholders, while establishing strong relationships with internal stakeholders and building a strong understanding of strategic business/operations direction.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with over 10 years of experience in Procurement/Sourcing including over 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Extensive Knowledge and Experience in Procurement Applications: Proficient in eRFx, eAuction, P2P, and actively leading sourcing initiatives within managed categories.
  • Outstanding Leadership and Management Skills: Excellent problem-solving, team, and time management skills, with the ability to evaluate and counsel subordinates effectively.
  • Exceptional Negotiation and Analytical Abilities: Strong reputation as a negotiator, leading complex agreements with suppliers, and deep understanding of cost drivers and cost models.
  • Strategic and Results-Oriented Leadership: Known for employing fact-based analysis, world-class process expertise, and leading by example to achieve breakthrough performance.
  • Global Experience and Executive Presence: Significant executive presence, ability to represent the organization effectively, and understanding of global business cultures with extensive travel experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Advanced Certifications preferred: Institute of Supply Management (CPSM), SPSM
