Description de la Fonction

Le Sr. Accounting Manager jouera un rôle essentiel dans la supervision des opérations financières de l’entreprise et garantira un reporting financier précis. En tant que leader de l’équipe comptable, il collaborera étroitement avec d’autres départements pour soutenir les objectifs stratégiques de l’entreprise.

Impact du Rôle

Les responsabilités incluent :

• Superviser les opérations comptables quotidiennes, y compris les comptes fournisseurs, les comptes clients, la paie et la gestion du grand livre.
• Produire et analyser des rapports financiers pour éclairer les décisions stratégiques.
• Rapprocher mensuellement tous les comptes de bilan et de compte de résultat.
• Gérer et encadrer une équipe de professionnels de la comptabilité.
• Mettre en œuvre des contrôles internes efficaces pour garantir la conformité.
• Assurer le paiement en temps voulu des fournisseurs et la collecte des créances clients.
• Conduire des projets de transformation financière à destination locale et régionale.
• Collaborer avec diverses équipes pour fournir des analyses financières pertinentes.
• Interagir avec des auditeurs externes pour assurer la conformité fiscale et comptable.
• Suivre les évolutions des normes comptables pour garantir l’alignement aux meilleures pratiques.

Qualifications Requises

Les candidats doivent posséder :

• Un diplôme en comptabilité ou finances ; un MBA ou CPA est un atout.
• Au moins 10 ans d’expérience en gestion financière, de préférence dans le secteur de la vente au détail ou des produits de consommation.
• Une connaissance approfondie des normes US GAAP.
• Des compétences analytiques et de résolution de problèmes solides.
• Une maîtrise des logiciels comptables et des outils d’analyse de données.
• Des compétences en communication et en gestion d’équipe avérées.
• La capacité à travailler en anglais, tant à l’écrit qu’à l’oral.

Localisation du Poste

Le candidat doit résider à proximité du bureau de Séoul. Le modèle de travail inclut quatre jours en présentiel et un jour de télétravail par semaine.

As the Sr accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of accounting professionals and collaborate closely with other departments to support the overall business objectives.Your ImpactYour Impact

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
• Monitor, analyze and produce financial reports / statements, and forecasts to provide insights and support strategic decision-making (if any)
• Reconcile all balance sheet and income statement accounts on monthly basis. Ensure all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation.
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality work.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Ensure on time payment to all our suppliers, ensure on time collection of receivables from our customers. Responsible of monthly cash flow & closing reporting package required by region.
• Strong drive of finance transformation project as local initiatives as well as regional/global initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and executive management, to provide financial / Accounting data and analysis to ensure goal achievement & compliance. Support regional FP&A by providing relevant & timely information.
• Liaising with external auditors and tax agents on relevant audit and taxation compliance to ensure overall coordination of all financial accounting activities through annual report
• Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards and best practices and ensure the company’s accounting practices align with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance. MBA or CPA has an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Financial Management, Accounting Experience with Managerial capacity, preferably in the retail or consumer products industry
• Finance transformation project experience has an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP standards and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights.
• Proficient in using accounting software and tools, such as ERP systems and data analysis software.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to work across cultures and seniority levels.
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal, and prior experience in an MNC environment

Workplace Location

• Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our seoul office.
• Return to Work Designation: 4 days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.
