We are looking for product minded, impact-driven engineers to join us on this journey.What Were Looking ForKey responsibilities:
– Shape and co-own codebase of a greenfield product as a member of a cross-functional product-engineering team
– Drive turning user needs into solutions end-to-end, from product discovery to supporting our code running in production
– Drive design and development of a greenfield mobile app, and contribute significantly to the system design of the overall product
– Be a trusted partner for product, design, data and other functions, as well as other teams
– Support growth of your team and colleagues
– Work with and contribute to a modern technology stack with Swift, SwiftUI
– Collaborate with other Engineers to constantly push the boundary of technical excellence across iOS and beyond
– Implement cool ideas and have impact on millions of users in a customer-centric environment with high degree of ownershipRequired skills:
– Proven impact building new and/or refactoring existing large scale customer-facing products
– Very strong product business mindset. Proven ability to drive building of successful products working closely with Product Managers, Designers, Domain experts
– Relevant experience in iOS development in companies that required a strong product mindset
– Ability to choose the right tool for each challenge, learn new tools and technologies
– Ability to manage risks, trade-offs and propose efficient solutions
– Strong advocate of design for testability, automated tests, shift left and willingness to work in an environment where engineers own the quality end-to-end
– Ability to learn fast, collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively
– Great understanding of object-oriented, functional and declarative paradigms, design patterns and architectures such as MVVM/MVI, DI
– Strong experience with TCA and composable, modular UI architectures in general
– Ability to craft clean, maintainable code
– Strong ability to design for reliability and scalability
– Strong grasp of Swift including concurrency, networking, persistence, performance optimization
– Experience building complex, dynamic, and interactive UIs with SwiftUI
– Experience implementing and advocating for methodologies that allow fast iterations and maximise developer productivity, such as eXtreme Programming, Trunk Based Development, CI/CD mindset, BDD, TDD
– Strong advocate of technical patterns and solutions that optimise for pace of experimentation (e.
g. backend-driven UI architecture, modularization, high cohesion/low coupling)
– Great command of EnglishNice to have:
– Knowledge of libraries, tools and approaches for building beautiful animations: Core Animation, Lottie, SwiftUI animations etc
– Experience with backend development
