Description du poste : Job Summary: We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our marine design team, working closely with Naval Architects on the structural design and development of maritime vessels and trailer structures. In this role, you will be responsible for performing structural calculations, supporting design activities, and handling key administrative tasks related to documentation, procurement, and coordination. This is a hands-on technical role with opportunities to contribute throughout all design phases. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Naval Architects in the design and development of hull structures, decks, bulkheads, and foundations. Perform structural analyses and strength calculations under various load conditions (e.g., hydrostatic, dynamic, impact). Create and review structural models and technical drawings using CAD and 3D software. Ensure structural elements comply with applicable classification societies and industry codes. Assist in preparing and reviewing documentation for approval by clients and classification bodies. Support procurement tasks by assisting in preparing material ordering and technical specifications. Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and partners for technical and administrative follow-up. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in marine or offshore structural design. Intermediate proficiency in Rhino3D Proficiency in structural analysis tools and CAD software (AutoCAD, Rhino, SolidWorks). Familiarity with classification rules and structural design standards. Strong team player with excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to understand and follow instructions effectively. Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to generate creative ideas and innovate in design processes. Experience collaborating with other departments such as production and mechanical. Owned transport, preferably
