You will be assigned an onboarding buddy to support you during the internship.As a Frontend Engineer Intern, you will:Support the development of modern user interfaces that enhance the digital experience for Mercedes-Benz customers.Help build and maintain web applications using JavaScript frameworks such as or React.Work with core web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and related libraries to deliver responsive and accessible interfaces.Collaborate closely with design, backend, and QA teams to translate visual concepts into functional components.Learn and apply best practices in UI/UX, web performance, and responsive design to ensure a high-quality user experience.Participate in team discussions to address frontend challenges and propose effective, user-centric solutions.TO SUCCEED YOU NEEDTo be currently finishing your degree in computer science, informatics engineering or related technical fieldTo have a way of working that is characterized by team spirit, excellent communication skills in English (mandatory) and high-quality standards set to yourself for what you produceTo be willing to embrace DevOps and Agile methodologyTo be willing to learn from a multi-disciplinary and multicultural teamSome professional experience/internship experiences are a plus but not mandatory.YOU WILL BE HAPPY WITHOpen-source softwareNo top-down hierarchy.
