Description du poste : Are you a caring and compassionate person looking to better use your skills to help people?Are you looking to pursue a career where you can actively give back to the community?Then we might have the perfect role for you!We are looking for a Team Leader to join our busy Patient Transport Sevices contract to ensure effective and efficient and day-to-day resource of operationswithin the patient transport department by coordinating the distribution of patient journeys and managing the operational staff.Main duties of the jobResponsibilities:Lead, motivate and monitor staff in order to develop and improve their skills, so that customer expectations are continually met or exceeded.To understand patients special needs and mobility to ensure their safe transport ensuring the patients dignity and respect is maintained.Operate interchangeably as either driver or attendant in a single person or 2- person ambulance crew and act and promote teamwork to ensure high standards of service delivery.Ensure the contracted service is delivered on a timely basis to the required standard in line with policies and procedures.Available to transport patients as required.Engage with Ward staff and patients to organise, and allocate resources to optimise service delivery.Liaise with external agencies as required, ensuring that contractual issues are resolved & co-operation is achieved.Provide support and advice to Ambulance CrewsAssist in the planning of the shift rosters, ensuring relevant cover throughout the yearYou will be required to assist the controllers in planning the efficient and safe transport of patientsUndertake supervision of journey to ensure complianceUndertake regular checks to ensure cleaning requirement/rotas are achievedEnsure vehicle and equipment checks are completed as requiredDeal with staff matters which arise as first point of contactCarry out any other duties relevant to the role as directed by your Area Manager and/or Service Delivery Manager.About usWhy G4S?G4S Patient Transport Services is one of the UKs largest Non-Emergency Patient Transport providers, carrying out over 50,000 journeys on behalf of the NHS every year.
