Contexte :
Rejoignez un projet d’envergure, Sizewell C, qui vise à fournir une énergie propre à 6 millions de foyers pendant les 60 prochaines années. Ce site accueillera une centrale nucléaire de 3,2 Gigawatts sur la côte de Suffolk, dans le but de générer une électricité à faible émission de carbone. Le projet est porté par la Civil Works Alliance, un consortium comprenant Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics et Laing O’Rourke. Cette alliance laisse entrevoir la création d’une entité de livraison unique, forte d’une expérience accumulée sur plusieurs programmes d’infrastructure complexes à l’échelle mondiale.

Responsabilités

Mission Principale :
Le coordinateur des travaux temporaires est rattaché au Temporary Works Manager et collabore avec divers directeurs de projet pour assurer la planification et l’exécution des travaux temporaires sur le site. Le rôle exige une coordination efficace des programmes, garantissant la sécurité et la conformité aux normes.

Manager, Construction Engineering Lead, Delivery Director’s and Project Managers in the delivery of the
Sizewell C.
The Civil Works Alliance Temporary Works team has overall responsibility for programme and project
temporary works.Who we’re looking forQualifications & Experience
Essential

• Experience relevant to the type and complexity of the Temporary Works on the project that they will

be involved. Length of experience on similar projects. For this role, Offshore experience is critical,
with specific knowledge of lifting key.

• Attended either, a Balfour Beatty, or approved external company delivered, TWC training course, or

TWC Update/Refresher training course.

• Received a briefing from the Balfour Beatty DI, or a competent and experienced individual, on the

role and delegated responsibilities, as approved by the DI, including an update on the BMS
Temporary Works procedures at periods not exceeding 2 years.

• If being nominated for first appointment – Must have attended a Balfour Beatty TWC training course

within the last 2 years or be able to demonstrate recent relevant training, knowledge and experience
for this role with another organisation.

• If being nominated for re-appointment – Must have undertaken the role of TWC within the last 2

years. If this requirement is not satisfied the nominated person must attend the next available TWC
training course, and receive an update on the BMS Temporary Works procedures. They must also
have attended an Update/Refresher training within a period not exceeding 5 years after completing
the TWC course, and at periods not exceeding 5 years thereafter

• It is desirable, although not essential, to have formal qualifications e.g. HNC, Degree
