Mission Principale
*Le rôle du Territory VM* consiste à maximiser les ventes au détail dans les showrooms Home Centre, en développant et en mettant en œuvre des normes et méthodes de merchandising visuel efficaces en accord avec les objectifs de l’entreprise.
Responsabilités Clés
- Service Client : Privilégier le service client et les ventes tout en assurant une présence managériale sur chaque division.
- Merchandising Visuel : Promouvoir les normes élevées de merchandising et développer des solutions innovantes.
- Analyse Concurrentielle : Effectuer des études de marché pour rester informé des dernières tendances en matière de design d’intérieur.
- Collaboration Équipe : Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les managers et les équipes de merchandising visuel pour déterminer les besoins spécifiques.
- Formation : Développer et former l’équipe de merchandising visuel en matière de normes et techniques.
- Planification : Planifier et gérer les tâches pour minimiser les coûts et maximiser la productivité.

📝 Description du poste : Job Description:To maximize retail sales in Home Centre Showrooms through the development and implementation of effective Visual Merchandising standards and methods in line with company objectives.Responsibilities: * Using Visual Merchandising skill and business awareness to maximize salesResponsibilities:
- Ensure customer service/sales takes priority over tasks.
- Ensure there is a management/supervisory presence at all times in each division.
- Exhibit and promote high standards of Visual Merchandising.
- Develop creative and innovative Visual Merchandising solutions.
- Manage Visual Merchandising expenses within budgetary guidelines.
- Ensure all sales opportunities are maximized through effective use of Visual Merchandising methods.
- Ensure effective merchandising layout is implemented in relation to sales target and store objectives
- Monitor sales in relation to how this affects visual merchandising standards
- Conducts surveys / monitor competitors and understand the latest trends in home interior retail and interior design
- Assess and recommend action to Visual Merchandising team regarding brand presentation issues, promotions and events, and training issues related to visual merchandising standards.
- Work with managers and the Visual Merchandising team in determining specific visual merchandising needs, such as fixtures, image photos and point of sale materials for the store
- Develop and execute seasonal merchandising standards.
- Create and communicate seasonal guidelines and merchandising response from field to appropriate business partners.
- Re-merchandise displays, point of sales and select areas of the store regularly so as to maximize sales
- Provide timely and complete follow through on all areas of merchandising
- Manage the brand representation at external events liaising and influencing the Corporate Sales Manager and Marketing team.
- Managing others to maximize visual standards and sales
Responsibilities:
- Formulate methods of customer service through creative and innovative visual merchandising methods
- Ensure tasks are delegated appropriately in accordance with people’s skills and abilities
- Manage a team of Coordinators to meet all visual / retail merchandising goals.
- Ensure open communication channels are developed with each showroom Manager and Area Retail Manager.
- Ensure showrooms are frequently visited and monitored to maintain visual merchandising standards
- Develop and train the Visual Merchandising team on merchandising standards, interior design, space planning and store layout and other visual merchandising techniques.
- Involve self in recruiting, selecting, training and developing visual staff.
- Ensure all Visual Merchandising staff are appraised in line with company guidelines (minimum one appraisal per year)
- To maintain strict levels of confidentiality with regard to all areas of the business particularly commercial information and personal details of employees
- Ensure Visual Merchandising expectations and priorities are communicated to staff and regularly review and provide feedback on staff’s performance against expectations
- Ensure that staff has the skills needed to meet the company’s Visual Merchandising standards and identify and prioritize training needs accordingly – this includes Showroom Managers, In-charges, Supervisors and sales staff.
- Implement and maintain a relevant induction programme in line with company policy
- Carry out regular and relevant training with the Visual Merchandising team.
- Ensure counseling and disciplinary matters are dealt with according to company policy
- Deal with staff grievances in accordance with company policy
- Demonstrate skills of a team player
- Ensure regular Visual Merchandising staff meetings are carried out to communicate goals and training delivered
- Planning and managing tasks to minimize expenditure and maximize productivity
Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of Visual Merchandising appearance throughout all the showrooms.
- Communicate all merchandising directives to the store teams
- Clearly communicate store, company objectives so Visual Merchandising Coordinators and visual staff are well informed.
- Partner with Visual Merchandising Coordinators and Store Managers to direct merchandise execution
- Merchandise to maximize sales, maintaining company standards and corporate image
- Develop periodic concepts for window displays in line with the company’s visual merchandising standards
- Oversee all store planning and development in relation to visual merchandising guidelines
- Develop and provide merchandising solutions to answer specific problem areas in different showrooms as communicated by Visual Merchandising Coordinators
- Ensure that plans for promotions are in place, using all relevant information and resources
- Manager the work load of the Visual Merchandising Team through effective planning and objective setting.
- Complete a monthly report on activities of the previous month, action taken, visits taken and includes set objectives for the month ahead.
- Managing self to maximize sales
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all employees of the company are treated with respect and courtesy
- Ensure staff has a full understanding merchandising priorities, goals and activities
- Track, monitor competitor trends in the market place
- Provide feedback and commercial information to the Retail Operations Manager and other areas of the business, including provision of regular reports
- Monitor and report findings / recommendations that pertain to Visual Merchandising
- Actively encourage open lines of communication within the company
- Attend and contribute to management meetings, as required
- Participate in special projects as requested by the ROM
- Ensure a positive attitude is maintained even when under pressure
- Ensure own Learning and Development needs are identified and utilize available resources for professional and self development
