Therefore, we are looking for a Test Engineer to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.Your role in our teamAs our new Test Engineer, you will become part of our test operations group of the Space System department in Terma Space. You will participate in the work of the test operations group, keeping and improving the high level of quality needed in the space industry while meeting strict deadlines.You will moreover be part of a team focused on the successful execution of extensive test campaigns of our space products.Terma Space Systems is a pioneer in the Danish space industry and has been developing advanced space hardware solutions for more than 50 years. We provide mission critical hardware products for both scientific and commercial satellites to the high-quality standards. We are in Lystrup and Søborg Denmark, where 45 55 employees work with the development and testing of space electronics in a very collaborative and informal environment. The team includes technicians, engineers and physicist in the full range from newly graduated to senior employees.How you will make a meaningful contributionYour key responsibilities include:
- Technical responsibility of execution of test campaigns of different products
- Developing and reviewing specialized test code
- Understanding and participating in environmental tests (vibration, thermal vacuum, shock)
- Understanding and conducting EMC testing
- Analyzing test results and evaluating according to strict requirements
- Writing technical documentation and participating in customer meetings
- Troubleshoot and debug if issues arise
Bring your world class expertise into playYou are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement
- You have an academic background in analog electronics, test automation or similar fields of study combined with some years of practical experience
- You have technical experience working with:
- Electronics production, testing and debugging
- Test automation and test operation
- Electrical schematics capture, development and review
- You have experience with some of the preferred tools:
- NI Test Stand
- Microsoft Office suite
- OrCAD Suite including PCB Editor, PSpice
- NI LabVIEW
It is preferred but not a requirement, if you have experience with space / high reliability production or any NI certification with LabView or Test Stand.As a person, you are open and empathic, with strong communicative skills and a natural ability to connect with others. You show great initiative and drive, while maintaining a level-headed approach.
