Rôle et Responsabilités
Le poste de Underwriter A&H en Espagne implique plusieurs responsabilités clés :
- Évaluation des politiques : Analyser les nouvelles demandes et les renouvellements en fonction de critères préétablis afin de déterminer la prise en charge des risques.
- Gestion des affaires : Superviser la souscription pour atteindre une croissance rentable, y compris la gestion des affaires nouvelles et des renouvellements.

Underwriters are tasked with determining the risk of an insured, whether an individual, or company, and appropriately calculating the premium for the requested coverage.About the roleWhat you need to know:Underwriter, A&H Spain, reporting to the Lead UW, Spain will contribute by underwriting new & renewal business, developing, and maintaining relationships with new and existing brokers, building strong client relationships, and working to carry out agreed strategies.Job ResponsibilitiesEvaluates new and renewal policies and endorsements against prescribed criteria to determine if risk qualifies for acceptance; verifies and rates new business; investigates inconsistencies related to risk acceptance; reviews situations not covered by criteria; and develops information for underwriters to isolate problems.Manage underwriting to achieve profitable growth, including underwriting new business, renewals, quotes, and other transactions.Prepares policy writing instructions and premium billings; analyzes submissions for accuracy of policy issuance information from the underwriter and/or broker, ensuring policies contain all compliance information as indicated on the hand-off sheet; and checks/signs policies prior to release.Support Group underwriting to achieve profitable growth, including underwriting new business, renewals, quotes, and other transactions.Understanding of the local insurance broker community, plus the ability to build relationships with brokers and senior management.Establish and leverage strong relationships with Clients, Brokers and PartnersAnalytical and quantitative skillsProficient knowledge of key regulatory requirements.Communicates with producers, insureds, bureaus, etc. to ensure common understanding,Assists the senior underwriter in the preparation of business, line reports and agency analysis and completion of the Audit; prepares underwriting hand-off sheets and renewal information; assists in the review of procedures to resolve issues;Participates in research projects involving identification and classification data; conducts Quality Control of issued policies and accurate file maintenance; and reviews experience and classification.Visit producers to establish effective relationships.Establish and leverage strong relationships with Clients, Brokers, and PartnersAble to internally engage with Local & Regional Leadership.Integrator: Collaborate with multiple technical, functional, distribution and client/broker management resources, local, regional, and global, across the wider business.Build and maintain appropriate, strong, and effective business relationships with stakeholders.Drive a culture that promotes collaboration, diversity, and inclusionWhat we’re looking for:Strong and relevant experience of product and local market experience, with underwriting assistance experience with individual insurance products.
