Monthly Salary: R32 000 (Negotiable based on experience)Scope of the Role:Our client is seeking a skilled Web Designer to join their dynamic and growing team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Shopify and WordPress websites, from initial concept to final deliverable. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating their expertise in web design and development, particularly with Shopify and WordPress.Key Responsibilities:

• Edit, and design Shopify templates
• Design and implement websites from initial concept to finished deliverable
• Design interfaces and graphics for presentations and mobile-delivered applications
• Develop and update high-quality social media posts
• Manage multiple projects concurrently with attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously or within a team, taking creative direction

Requirements

• 2-3 years of proven experience in Shopify and WordPress web design
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a confident ability to interact effectively with customers
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous work
• Proficiency in popular WordPress builders
• Experienced in graphic design
• Active user of social media
• Experience in integrating e-commerce functionalities into Shopify and WordPress websites, including payment gateways, shopping carts, and product catalogs.
• Proficiency in creating responsive designs to ensure optimal user experience across various devices.
• Proficiency in using email marketing tools
• Knowledge of SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and rankings on search engines.
• Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g.,Google Analytics) to track and analyse site performance and user behaviour.
• Understanding of user interface and user experience principles to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites.
