Description du poste
Bayshore HealthCare est à la recherche d’un Personal Caregiver compétent et compatissant, désireux de rejoindre son équipe engagée. Le candidat retenu sera responsable de fournir des soins exceptionnels et un soutien à nos clients, en veillant à leur confort, à leur sécurité et à leur bien-être général.
Responsabilités clés
- Fournir des services de gestion domestique, incluant le nettoyage, la cuisine, la lessive, et la gestion générale du foyer.
- Offrir de la compagnie et accompagner les clients lors d’activités communautaires.
- Administrer des services de soins personnels selon les directives du plan de soins.
- Veiller au confort émotionnel, spirituel et physique des clients.
- Aider les clients dans les activités de la vie quotidienne, adaptées à leurs besoins.
- Effectuer des procédures spécialisées si une formation a été dispensée.
- Observer et documenter l’état des clients en respectant les normes de l’entreprise.
- Mettre en œuvre des pratiques de prévention des infections.

Qualifications requises
- Formation accréditée en tant que caregiver ou combinaison d’expérience et d’éducation équivalente.
- Bonne connaissance des principes de soins et de service à la clientèle.
- Capacité à communiquer efficacement en anglais, la maîtrise du français étant un atout.
- Compétence dans la fourniture de soins de qualité avec des connaissances à jour sur les pratiques communautaires.
- Aptitude physique pour aider les clients dans leurs mouvements, incluant soulever jusqu’à 23 kg.
- Transport fiable et permis de conduire sont des atouts.
- Capacité à fournir un extrait de casier judiciaire sans mention d’infractions liées à des personnes vulnérables.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and support to our clients, while ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including but not limited to cleaning, cooking, laundry, and general household management
- Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events
- Administer personal care services in accordance with the care plan directives
- Ensure the emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of clients to the highest possible standard
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, tailored to meet their specific needs
- Perform specialized procedures for clients where training has been provided while demonstrating current competency
- Observe and document client conditions in line with company standards; promptly report any unusual events or changes in client condition to the Supervisor or Office
- Implement and adhere to infection prevention practices

QualificationsRequirements:
- Completion of formal, accredited caregiver training program and/or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of the principles of caregiving as well as well as customer service.
- Able to communicate in spoken and written English; French proficiency will be deemed an asset
- Provide high-quality care services to clients with current knowledge of practices for community care
- Physically assist clients with movement and/or repositioning; able to lift 23 kgs., squat, bend, stand and reach
- Reliable mode of transportation; driver’s license and automobile considered as an asset
- Able to produce a clear Criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector Check
