Description du poste
Le poste de Cost Center, Profitability Accounting and Non-Trade Analyst Semi Senior se situe au sein de la Business Reporting (BR). Cette entité est chargée de l’analyse comptable portant sur les centres de coûts, le coût des stocks, et les projets d’investissement, tout en préparant des états de résultats selon les unités de business.
Objectif principal du poste
Le titulaire du poste soutiendra les unités commerciales dans la préparation des états financiers, se concentrant particulièrement sur l’affectation des coûts, l’analyse des écarts, et l’analyse mensuelle des bénéfices avant intérêts et impôts (EBIT).
Tâches principales
- Gestion des activités financières : Effectuer des activités quotidiennes et mensuelles relatives à la comptabilité de centre de coûts et aux états financiers des entités BASF en Amérique.
- Préparation des déclarations financières : Assurer la distribution complète des dépenses et générer des états de résultats mensuels.
- Vérification des informations : Garantir la cohérence entre le module financier et le module de gestion.
- Distribution des positions : Analyser et allouer les différentes positions des états financiers.
- Amélioration des process : Proposer des améliorations pour automatiser les processus en s’appuyant sur de nouvelles technologies.
Qualifications requises
- Éducation : Étudiant avancé ou diplômé en Comptabilité, Administration des affaires ou Économie.
- Expérience professionnelle : Plus de 4 ans d’expérience dans des rôles financiers.
- Langues : Maîtrise de l’anglais à un niveau avancé.
- Compétences techniques : Connaissance solide de Microsoft Office, expérience avancée dans Excel et SAP.
- Compétences relationnelles : Capacité d’analyse, orientation client, sens de l’organisation et autonomie.

We offer professional solutions in finance, purchasing, reporting, logistics, technology, human resources, projects, communication, legal matters, environment, safety, health, and qualityArea:At the Montevideo HUB, we have the Business Reporting (BR) area, which covers activities such as cost center accounting, inventory costing, fixed assets, capital projects, and the preparation of profit and loss statements broken down by business unit. These activities generate information that we transform into reports to support decision-making for business and service units across the Americas.Main Objective of the Position:Support the business units in the preparation of the companies’ income statements in terms of cost center assignments, support in the explanation of deviations in results with respect to other periods and monthly EBIT analysis.Main Tasks:
- Perform daily and monthly activities, related to the processes of Cost Center Accounting, Income Statement & Non-Trade for companies and businesses of the BASF group of Americas.
- Process monthly the complete distribution of expenses of the different cost objects, generating the monthly income statement that allows providing information for business decision making.
- Ensure the consistency of information of the financial module vs the management module.
- Provide and analyze the correct allocation of the different positions of monthly and annual income statement.
- Support the improvement of the design and flow of the process looking for opportunities for improvement and automation through new technologies and systems.
Minimum Education and Qualification Requirements for the Position:
- Education | Advanced student or graduate of Accountant, Business Administration, Economics.
- Work Experience | More than 4 years of professional experience in financial roles.
- Languages | Advanced level of English is mandatory.
- Technical Skills | Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced proficiency in Excel and experience using SAP.
- Soft Skills | Strong analytical skills, customer focus, and problem-solving mindset. Organized, proactive, and autonomous, with the ability to prioritize effectively and communicate clearly.
