Description du Poste
Principales Responsabilités :
- Participer aux quarts de travail de 12 heures, suivant un système de rotation 4 jours travaillés, 4 jours de repos.
- Apporter une expertise technique pour les processus d’amélioration continue.
- Répondre aux pannes et prioriser les interventions nécessaires.
- Effectuer des travaux programmés lors des jours de maintenance.
- Assurer un suivi des réparations des quarts précédents.
- Maintenir une communication ouverte avec l’équipe via téléphone et radio.
- Respecter les protocoles de santé et de sécurité établis sur le site.
Ce rôle exige un engagement envers la qualité et la sécurité, éléments essentiels dans un environnement de fabrication lourd.
Profil du Candidat Idéal
Compétences et Qualifications :
- Être un électricien enregistré en Nouvelle-Zélande.
- Avoir de préférence une expérience des systèmes de contrôle, y compris les PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers).
- Capacité à respecter les délais tout en répondant aux attentes des clients.
- Approche proactive en matière de santé, de sécurité et de qualité.
- Capacité à lire et interpréter des plans techniques.
- Aptitudes avancées en résolution de problèmes techniques.
Les candidats doivent démontrer non seulement des compétences techniques, mais également leur capacité à travailler en équipe dans un environnement en constante évolution.

Carter Holt Harvey are seeking a self-motivated, quality focused individual who is a qualified electrician and may either have control systems or heavy industrial manufacturing experience. This role is based at our Kawerau Mill where you will be reporting to the Electrical Supervisor and working a rotating 4-on 4-off shift roster.Opportunity for an immediate start.Explore a lifestyle choice and the many advantages of living in the Bay of Plenty. - Participate in 12-hour day shifts on a rotating 4-on 4-off day shift roster.
- Provide technical expertise for continuous improvement processes.
- Provide breakdown response to mills (prioritising as directed).
- Carrying out shut work on shut days.
- Follow up work from previous shift, if required. Breakdowns, follow ups, etc.
- Carry shift phone and radio.
- Occasional shift cover to cover absenteeism (dayshift and nightshift).
- Ensure quality assurance of external vendors.
- Open communication with the team by wearing radio to provide backup if needed.
- Follow health and safety requirements across site.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:
- Be a NZ Registered Electrician.
- Preferably have control systems experience with control logics PLCs and fault finding on manufacturing plants, automated safety systems.
- Have the ability to deliver results on time to meet customer expectations.
- Have a health and safety, environmental and quality focus.
- Ability with reading and interpreting drawings.
- Expert level of equipment problem solving skills.
- Analytical trouble shooting ability.
- The ability to work within time restraints.
