Responsabilités Principales

En tant qu’Ingénieur en dynamique de vol, vous jouerez un rôle crucial dans la gestion des orbites de notre constellation de satellites SAR. Votre mission inclura :

• Conception, développement, déploiement et maintenance de stratégies de contrôle (station keeping, avoidance de collisions et acquisition d’orbite), simulations et outils de monitoring.
• Supervision de l’exécution des stratégies de contrôle des orbites pour la flotte ICEYE.
• Rédaction de rapports techniques et documentation pour les parties internes et externes.
• Participation aux revues de conception et de code.
• Responsabilité du cycle de vie complet des outils développés.
• Collaboration avec les équipes opérationnelles de mission et d’ingénieurs des systèmes sol pour aligner les activités de dynamique de vol avec les exigences de mission.

Conditions Requises

Formation :
Diplôme de Bachelor ou Master en ingénierie aérospatiale, informatique, physique ou domaine technique apparenté. Des certifications avancées en dynamique de vol ou opérations de satellites sont un atout.

Expérience et Compétences :

• Plus de 5 ans d’expérience en dynamique orbitale et contrôle d’orbite.
• Compréhension approfondie des mécaniques orbitales et des opérations satellites, y compris les manœuvres à faible poussée.
• Expérience avec des modèles numériques pour la vérification des algorithmes de contrôle.
• Maîtrise de langages de programmation tels que Python et C++.
• Connaissance des opérations d’évitement de collision et des réglementations connexes.
• Familiarité avec l’intégration continue et le déploiement des systèmes logiciels.
• Compétences en outils de développement logiciel modernes : git, systèmes CI/CD, Kubernetes.

Compétences en Leadership et Communication :
Capacité d’organisation, excellente communication verbale et écrite, et aptitude à expliquer des concepts techniques complexes à divers publics.

Looking for a highly motivated and seasoned Flight Dynamics Engineer to join a team of flight dynamics and software professionals. This team is crucial for managing the orbits of our advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite constellation. You will play a key role in the ongoing success and operational efficiency of Earth’s largest commercial SAR network, focusing on areas like repeat ground-track, orbital-tube control, and formation flying.Your role demands a blend of technical knowledge to enhance satellite operations, refine software solutions, and tackle challenges in orbit. Collaboration with mission planning, ground systems, and satellite operations teams will be essential to achieving mission objectives.What will you do in this role?

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain control strategies (including station keeping, collision avoidance and orbit acquisition), simulations, automations, visualizations and monitoring tools.
• Oversee execution of orbit control strategies across ICEYE fleet.
• Write technical reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Take ownership of the complete lifecycle of tools you develop.
• Partner with mission operations, payload teams, and ground systems engineers to align flight dynamics activities with mission requirements.

Requirements

• Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
• Advanced degrees or specialized certifications in flight dynamics, satellite operations, or related disciplines are a plus.

• Experience and skills:

• 5+ years of experience in orbital dynamics, orbit control or orbit determination.
• Demonstrated in-depth understanding of orbital mechanics, astrodynamics, and satellite operations, especially including techniques to plan and execute low-thrust maneuvers.
• Experience of working with numerical models for the purpose of verification of control algorithms and strategies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar.
• Familiarity with collision avoidance operations and regulations is desired.
• Experience working with continuous integration and deployment of software systems is desired.
• Proficiency in modern software development tools: git, CI/CD systems, Kubernetes is desired

• Leadership & Communication:

• Strong self- organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
