La Peninsula Private Hospital recherche un Health Information Manager/Clinical Coder enthousiaste et expérimenté. Cette position revêt une importance capitale dans la gestion des dossiers médicaux numériques, permettant d’embrasser l’innovation au sein de l’hôpital.
Responsabilités Clés
- Assurer la gestion correcte des dossiers patients, en respectant les exigences législatives nationales, étatiques et locales.
- Effectuer le codage précis et dans les délais des épisodes d’hospitalisation, en utilisant les classifications ICD-10-AM et ACHI.
- Collaborer avec une équipe valorisant la collaboration et le travail d’équipe.

Pour réussir dans ce rôle, les candidats doivent posséder :
Qualifications Requises :
- Un Bachelor en Gestion de l’Information de Santé ou des qualifications en codage clinique reconnues par l’Association de Gestion de l’Information de Santé d’Australie (HIMAA).
- Une connaissance à jour de l’ICD-10-AM, de l’ACHI et des Standards de Codage Australien.
Compétences et Qualités Personnelles :
- Adaptabilité et excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et organisationnelles.
- Souci du détail et compétences analytiques solides.
- Connaissance des systèmes de gestion de patients et des solutions de dossiers médicaux numériques.
Les candidats ayant une expérience antérieure en audit seront privilégiés, mais les diplômés sont également encouragés à postuler.

About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate management of patient records and that data is collected, collated and managed in line with site, state and federal legislative requirements.You will be responsible for accurate and timely coding of inpatient episodes using ICD-10-AM and ACHI classifications across a varied and complex casemix (including cardiothoracic, bariatrics, orthopaedic, spinal and colorectal surgery).About YouTo thrive in this role, you should be adaptable, possess exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills, and constantly demonstrate courtesy and sensitivity when dealing with patients, the public, and fellow team members.To be successful in this role you will have:
- Bachelor of Health Information Management or Clinical Coding qualifications from Health Information Management Association of Australia (HIMAA) or equivalent Approved Program
- Sound and updated knowledge of ICD-10-AM 12th edition, ACHI and Australian Coding Standards 12th Edition
- Previous auditing experience is highly desirable
- Proficiency with the Solventum Codefinder
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, patient management systems and digitised medical record solutions
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge and understanding of DRG and activity-based funding
- Ability to prioritise tasks and effectively manage time to meet deadlines
- A passion for accurate data and continuous learning.
