Votre rôle chez Eaton
En tant que Comptable Financier, vous intégrerez le Centre d’Affaires de Budapest et ferez partie de l’équipe de Comptabilité Financière Globale (GFA). Vous serez responsable des activités comptables liées aux opérations quotidiennes pour nos clients dans la région EMEA.
Responsabilités clés :
- Processus Centrés : Compréhension approfondie des processus financiers (RTR, OTC et PTP), axée particulièrement sur le RTR, garantissant une comptabilité de bout en bout. Cela inclut un clôture mensuelle et annuelle précise et opportune.
- Contrôle et Conformité : Mise en œuvre des actions nécessaires pour assurer un environnement de contrôle interne adéquat, conformément à la loi Sarbanes-Oxley et aux exigences statutaires.
- Standardisation des Processus : Revue régulière des contrôles existants et gouvernance des processus standard.
- Collaboration : Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les parties prenantes pour aider à atteindre les objectifs et échéances fixés.
- Amélioration Continue : Approche pratique pour améliorer continuellement les processus.
Qualifications requises
- Formation : Diplôme de Bachelor en Finance et Comptabilité.
- Expérience : Expérience pertinente dans les activités de comptabilité et de finance d’entreprise.
- Compétences : Maîtrise des outils Microsoft, en particulier Excel, et connaissance des ERP comme Oracle et SAP.
- Langues : Anglais professionnel, d’autres langues de l’UE sont un atout.

Join us and help us provide energy-efficient solutions that make a real impact.What you’ll do:As Financial Accountant you will be part of Eaton’s Global Financial Accounting (GFA) within the Budapest Business Centre and responsible to perform the accounting activities for daily operations of the customers in the EMEA region. You will work together with the Finance Transformation and the Transitions teams. This role is instrumental in supporting the respective Plant Controller to ensure an adequate internal controls environment throughout the plant.Further responsibilities:
- Process Centric: with thorough understanding of the financial processes (RTR, OTC & PTP) with due focus on RTR in managing end to end accounting. Responsibilities include ensuring an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close. Demonstrate efficiency, agility and ensure a high level of accuracy. Provide business partnership to all areas of plant with regard to functional expertise and cross-functional support, providing guidance and education as needed to plant personnel to achieve financial objectives.
- Control & Compliance: Responsible for the implementation and deployment of actions to ensure an adequate environment of internal control. Provide compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and all applicable statutory requirements as they apply to their areas of responsibility. Active leadership required to ensure compliance is maintained for all financial activities, as well as the safeguarding of plant assets in compliance with corporate policies and procedures. Quality culture: Drive and leverage various systems and tools to automate processes and drive process improvements.
- Process Standardization: Regular review of existing controls and Governance of the standard processes and ensuring alignment to globally defined SSC processes
- Collaboration: Collaborates with the other stakeholders to support overall goals and objectives. Work closely with the Finance Manager in achieving the required goals and timelines. Proactively manage issues through understanding of the overall processes and interconnect.
- Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate a practical approach to continuous improvement of the processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Finance and Accounting.
- Relevant work experience in corporate finance and accounting activities: analysis of financial data, balance sheet reconciliation and month-end closing.
- Skilled with Microsoft Office Products including, especially in MS Excel.
- Knowledge of ERP preferably Oracle and SAP.
- Able to work in hybrid setup in Eaton’s Budapest office.
- Experience with USGAAP and exposure to SOX is advantage.
- Be very solutions driven, analytical and capable of delivering results.
- Proactively seek new opportunities to improve the productivity.
- Able to work within a large, multi-cultural organisation with international stakeholders.
- Professional level of English language knowledge, other EU language skills are advantage.
