Description du Poste

Le poste de HPC & AI System Test Engineer – Experienced est proposé dans le cadre d’un environnement de travail hybride, où il est attendu que les employés passent en moyenne deux jours par semaine dans les bureaux de HPE. Cette position se situe au sein de l’équipe High-Performance Computing (HPC), responsable de la vérification et de la validation de plateformes de serveurs, de solutions de réseaux, de stockage et de logiciels.

Responsabilités Principales

Le candidat devra :

  • Collaborer avec les équipes de gestion de produits pour comprendre les exigences de tests.
  • Déboguer et résoudre des problèmes en interaction avec diverses équipes.
  • Assurer la livraison de systèmes HPC de haute qualité en travaillant avec des équipes transversales.
  • Gérer efficacement des tâches de test variées et prioriser dans un environnement dynamique.
  • Adapter les plans de test en réponse à l’évolution des exigences et aux changements de programme.

Compétences et Connaissances Requises

Pour être éligible, le candidat doit posséder :

  • Un diplôme en informatique, ingénierie des systèmes ou équivalent.
  • Typiquement entre 4 à 6 ans d’expérience dans des rôles similaires.
  • Des connaissances sur des produits de serveurs, de stockage et de réseau.
  • Une expérience des principaux systèmes d’exploitation comme Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, SUSE).
  • Un excellent sens analytique et des compétences en résolution de problèmes.

The HPC Integrated Systems Test (IST) team is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager with a background in computer engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or any related computer technology to lead a team of 20 systems engineers. With the new and exciting AI market opportunities, IST is looking for a creative and open-minded individual who can adapt to this rapidly evolving market and the HPE XD product offerings. This position will provide operational direction, leadership, and mentoring for a growing team of early-career engineers, supported by experienced staff members.Knowledge and Skills
Possess experience with Industry Standard Server, Storage, and Networking products. Have experience with certification of major Operating Systems (OS) such as Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, SUSE, etc.)
Work with product development teams to understand new product features required for test programs/projects, work with technical leads and testers to design and develop appropriate test plans. Work with 3rd party product vendors and engineering teams to track development issues and solutions. Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage diverse test tasks and priorities in a fast-paced fluid environment. Effectively respond to changing program requirements, changes to product test plans and compressed schedules while meeting program development requirements.How you will make your mark:Work with Program & Product Management teams to understand test requirements.Debug and troubleshoot issues with various teams.Work with cross-functional teams to deliver quality HPC systems.Work with 3rd party product vendors and engineering teams to track development issues and solutions.Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage diverse test tasks and priorities in a fast-paced fluid environment.Effectively respond to changing program requirements, changes to product test plans and compressed schedules while meeting program development requirements.Work with product development teams to understand new product features required for test programs/projects, work with technical leads and testers to design and develop appropriate test plans.About you:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent.Typically 4-6 years experience.Possess experience with XD, Apollo, Industry Standard Server, Storage, and Networking products.Have experience with Linux Operating Systems (OS) such as Ubuntu, RHEL and SUSEExcellent understanding of testing methodologies.Excellent understanding of hardware and software interactions.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience in the overall architecture of software and hardware for products and solutions.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Knowledge of a programming or scripting language (Python, Perl, Linux Shell)Software systems testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.Design and implement new test features in existing and new test cases.Analyze, debug and provide feedback/resolution on issues uncovered by test team prior to submission of results to OS vendors for approval.Review and evaluate the implementation and use of test automation and test tools.Ensure development issues are resolved in a cost-effective, efficient, and timely manner.Debug and analyze issues to a successful resolution.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
