Profil Recherché :

Le candidat idéal est un professionnel aguerri dans le domaine de l’ingénierie, de la construction et de la gestion de projets. Il ou elle doit posséder une vision globale et être capable de proposer des solutions efficaces. Les compétences souhaitées incluent :

  • Connaissance des processus de documentation et de gestion de l’information nécessaires à la construction d’actifs physiques.
  • Expérience dans les solutions numériques pour aider les clients à optimiser leurs opérations.
  • Aptitudes en communication pour interagir avec divers acteurs lors de réunions et d’ateliers.

Responsabilités Principales :

Le Program Manager sera chargé de :

  • Surveiller et gérer l’ensemble des performances du programme, y compris le périmètre, la qualité, le calendrier, les coûts et l’innovation.
  • S’assurer que les projets sont livrés dans les délais et budgets impartis, tout en respectant les jalons clés.
  • Diriger plusieurs équipes de projet, en garantissant une allocation efficace des ressources.
  • Agir en tant que communicateur principal avec les clients, fournissant des mises à jour régulières et résolvant les problèmes éventuels.
  • Gérer les finances des projets, y compris le flux de trésorerie et la facturation des sous-traitants.
  • Encadrer et former les chefs de projet et les membres de l’équipe pour assurer une exécution efficace.

Exigences :

  • Diplôme de Bachelor d’une université accréditée.
  • Minimum de 15 ans d’expérience dans la gestion de projets et de programmes liés à la construction d’équipements électriques.
  • Un permis de conduire valide.

Atouts Supplémentaires :

  • Connaissance des projets de construction électrique (transmission, sous-stations, distribution).
  • Expérience en management et coordination avec plusieurs groupes de travail.
  • Maîtrise de Microsoft Office et des normes de sécurité en milieu utilitaire (OSHA).

A person who has lived and breathed engineering, construction, project management and project controls who likes to think big-picture and help find solutions. You have a solid working knowledge and experience in the engineering documentation and information management processes required to build and modernize physical assets, infrastructure, and buildings. You have experience and/or interests in digital solutions that can help clients do more. You are good with people and eager to learn new project and product solutions. You are comfortable supporting project leads during meetings and workshops, and able to support with material and content development.THE WORK:You’ll oversee and manage overall program performance, including scope, quality, schedule, cost, resources, and innovation for complex, high-risk projects.
You’ll ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, meeting key milestones across engineering, procurement, construction, and permitting.
You’ll lead and manage multiple project teams, ensuring proper staffing and resource allocation.
You’ll serve as the primary communicator with clients and stakeholders, providing status updates and addressing issues.
You’ll manage finances, including cost engineering, project cash flow, and contractor invoicing.
You’ll coordinate and interface with internal and external stakeholders to meet project requirements and regulatory needs.
You’ll mentor, coach, and develop project managers and team members to ensure task and communication plans are executed effectively.
You’ll ensure team members understand their responsibilities and accountabilities within each project.
You’ll lead project presentations, updates, and ensure timely submission of deliverables.
You’ll handle legal, regulatory, and permitting issues, including providing expert testimony when required.HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
Minimum of 15 years of experience in electrical utilities construction project and program management
A valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets safety requirementsBONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:Knowledge and experience in transmission, substation, and distribution electrical construction projects
Previous supervisory experience
Ability to coordinate work scope with multiple work groups or contractors
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of OSHA and typical utility safety policies
Knowledge of project management concepts and principles
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
