Description du Poste
Le*la candidat*e sélectionné*e sera chargé*e de la *curation* d’articles et de vidéos d’actualité sous-titrées en japonais, destinés à des plateformes partenaires de nouvelles telles que Google News Showcase, ainsi que des comptes de réseaux sociaux tels que YouTube et TikTok. Cela vise à renforcer la présence de Reuters dans un paysage d’information en ligne très concurrentiel.
Les responsabilités incluront :
- Curations : Sélectionner des articles d’actualité Reuters pour les partenaires de médias sociaux et les portails d’information.
- Mise en ligne : Publication d’articles et de contenus multimédias pour les clients de médias numériques de Reuters.
- Assistance : Soutenir l’exploitation du site jp.reuters.com.
- Entrée de données : Traiter diverses tâches assignées par l’équipe de rédaction.
- Gestion de données : Maintenir et mettre à jour des registres administratifs en utilisant MS Excel, y compris le suivi des indicateurs et l’analyse des données.
- Tâches supplémentaires : Exécution de missions selon les besoins du directeur.
Profil Recherché
Pour être retenu pour ce poste, le*la candidat*e devra répondre aux qualifications suivantes :
- Avoir une expérience dans le domaine des nouvelles et du journalisme. Une expérience en salle de rédaction est un atout.
- Maîtrise de la langue japonaise à l’écrit et à l’oral, avec des compétences en anglais souhaitées.
- Familiarité avec divers outils de *upload* et les réseaux sociaux.
- Compétence éprouvée en MS Excel pour gérer des tableaux et effectuer des analyses de données.
- Esprit d’équipe et capacité à collaborer étroitement avec les membres de l’équipe.
Conditions de Travail

You will be responsible for curating Reuters articles in Japanese and Japanese-subtitled Reuters news videos for a third-party news portal service such as Google News Showcase and social networking service handles such as YouTube and TikTok to compete in a highly competitive online news environment.The successful candidate must have strong news judgement and the technical skills to handle curation and uploading tasks. - Curating Reuters news stories for our social media and news portal partners.
- Selecting and uploading articles and multimedia for major digital media customers of Reuters and various video platforms.
- Assisting and executing tasks pertaining to operation of jp.reuters.com.
- Data entry, distribution and other tasks as assigned by the Editorial news operation.
- Maintaining and updating administrative records and reports using MS Excel, including tracking metrics, creating spreadsheets, and performing data analysis to support the team’s operations
- Additional duties as assigned

- Have a background in news and journalism. Experience in newsroom is a plus
- Proficient in reading/writing Japanese. Ability to read and communicate in English
- Have experience of using various uploaders, and are familiar with SNS
- Be proficient in MS Excel, with the ability to create and manage spreadsheets, track data, and perform basic data analysis
- Be a team player
