Description du Poste
Nous recherchons un Duty Manager expérimenté et dynamique pour diriger l’équipe de la réception de l’Oaks Queenstown Shores Resort. Sous la supervision du Hotel Manager, vous serez responsable de la gestion des opérations de l’hôtel durant votre quart, en soutenant tous les départements et en résolvant les problèmes complexes avec une approche adaptable et efficace.
Votre présence rayonnante accueillera les clients dès leur arrivée, leur offrant un cadre chaleureux et convivial. Le rôle implique de diriger votre équipe pour garantir des expériences client exceptionnelles.
Responsabilités Clés
- Offrir une expérience d’accueil inoubliable, en démontrant un engagement en faveur de l’excellence du service et en maintenant les normes opérationnelles à la réception.
- Accueillir les clients et propriétaires à leur arrivée, et s’assurer qu’ils sont bien installés dans leurs chambres.
- Maintenir une communication professionnelle et transparente pour faciliter les réservations.
- Former et soutenir l’équipe pour garantir un accueil et des expériences clients remarquables.
- Réaliser les réconciliations bancaires quotidiennes avec précision.
- Gérer efficacement les plaintes des clients en temps opportun.
- Maintenir des comptes clients précis et assister dans les rapportings quotidiens.
- Gérer le roster de l’équipe pour respecter le budget.
- Appuyer le Hotel Manager dans le recrutement.
- Collaborer avec les départements de maintenance et d’entretien ménager.
- Veiller à la conformité aux directives de santé et de sécurité.
Profil Recherché
Pour réussir dans ce poste, les candidats doivent posséder :
- 2+ ans d’expérience dans un rôle de gestion ou de supervision dans un environnement hôtelier.
- Une expérience antérieure dans une propriété à titre de strata est un atout.
- Une compréhension de la comptabilité de fiducie.
- D’excellentes compétences en gestion d’équipe et en communication, tant écrites qu’orales.
- Une passion pour un service client proactif et indiscriminé.
- Une disponibilité pour travailler à divers horaires, y compris les week-ends et jours fériés.

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will manage hotel operations during your shift, assist all departments, and address escalated issues with an emphasis on adaptability and effective problem-solving.The moment a guest steps into our hotel you will make them feel at home with your welcoming and warm presence. You have the important job of leading your team and driving exceptional customer experiences.Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing an outstanding guest welcoming experience by demonstrating a commitment to service excellence and maintaining the front office and reception operational standards.
- Meeting guests and owners when they arrive and ensure they are settled in their rooms.
- Maintaining professional, open and honest communication to assist guests and make accurate bookings.
- Train, guide & support the team in providing outstanding guest welcoming and experiences.
- Process daily Trust Banking reconciliations and ensure that all daily tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond to and resolve guest complaints effectively, timely and professionally.
- Maintain accurate guest accounts and assist with daily reporting.
- Effectively manage the team roster to meet budgets.
- Support Hotel Manager with recruitment.
- Overseeing and liaising with Housekeeping and Maintenance departments.
- Coordinating Front Office and F&B activities to ensure guest packages are correct.
- Purchase ordering and stock receipting.
- Manage the service of alcohol in accordance with operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines and procedures, lead emergency actions and handle evacuation.
