Mission et Responsabilités
Le candidat retenu pour le poste de Software Engineering Manager sera en charge de :
- Définir et mettre en œuvre une vision technologique pour le développement de nouvelles fonctionnalités centrées sur la sécurité des flottes et des conducteurs.
- Gérer les résultats produits et commerciaux des équipes d’ingénierie.
- Élaborer une feuille de route produit à long terme en collaboration avec les équipes produit.
- Conduire des discussions techniques en collaborant avec les équipes Frontend, Produit, Design, Vision par Ordinateur et Data Science.
- Diriger l’exécution et les opérations des nouvelles fonctionnalités pour les clients internes et externes, tout en assurant une qualité élevée.
- Documenter et améliorer les meilleures pratiques et normes de codage.
- Recruter et développer une équipe d’ingénieurs qualifiés, tout en offrant des conseils techniques et du mentorat.
- Participer au développement de certaines tâches, notamment au niveau du codage et de la vérification des fonctionnalités.
Qualifications Requises
- Diplôme en informatique ou domaine connexe (Bac+3 ou Bac+5).
- Plus de 8 ans d’expérience en ingénierie logicielle ou dans des domaines similaires.
- Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en gestion d’ingénierie.
- Connaissance des systèmes à haute disponibilité et faible latence.
- Expérience dans la construction de systèmes distribués à grande échelle.
- Compétences techniques en développement de produits agiles, systèmes distribués, infrastructure, et cloud computing.
- Capacité à réaliser une travail architectural, en développant des conceptions techniques et des exigences basées sur des besoins opérationnels.
- Historique de réussite dans le recrutement et la gestion d’ingénieurs qualifiés.
- Intérêt et capacité à travailler en équipe tout en restant impliqué dans les tâches techniques.

We need an experienced and ambitious leader who can think architecturally, articulate a compelling long-term technical vision, develop and execute realistic implementation plans, and manage our Engineering team.
- Define and implement a technology vision for building new product features for fleet & driver safety.
- Manage the product and business outcomes of the engineering teams.
- Develop a long-term product roadmap in collaboration with product teams
- Lead technical design discussions by collaborating with multiple teams including Frontend, Product, Design, Computer Vision & Data Science teams.
- Drive the execution, launch, and daily operations of functionalities for internal/external customers at consistently high quality, Introduce and continuously evolve cutting-edge development, release, and operations processes
- Develop, document, and improve best practices and coding standards
- Hire, manage, and develop a diverse team of highly qualified Engineers. This includes providing expert technical guidance, effective coaching and career development
- As needed, contribute to development tasks such as coding and feature verifications to assist teams with release commitments, to gain and deepen an understanding of our codebase and business processes
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters in computer science or related field
- 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related domains
- 3+ years of engineering management experience
- Experience working with high-throughput and low-latency systems
- Experience building high-scale distributed systems
- Have technical depth and breadth in the following areas: agile product development, distributed systems, infrastructure, cloud computing, build tools, front-end engineering, mobile, QA.
- Ability to perform architectural work, including the development of technical designs and definition of requirements based on an explanation of business issues experienced by internal/external customers and vendors
- Proven track record as a nimble and proactive thinker and doer, who thrives in an environment that demands excellence
- A high degree of comfort with short release cycles, owning the full software lifecycle, and deep experience working on a product for public consumption
- Passion for continuous experimentation and learning, coupled with a desire to make things run faster, and better
- Demonstrated success in hiring, managing, motivating, and promoting skilled Engineers
- An opinion on and a solid understanding of what makes for a strong, healthy, and productive Engineering culture
- A track record as a strong individual contributor earlier in your career, with continued interest in rolling up your sleeves and pitch in with coding when needed
