Rôle et Responsabilités
En tant qu’Ingénieur en Traitement d’Images Senior, vous aurez pour mission principale de développer et maintenir des techniques avancées de traitement pour l’imagerie satellitaire. Vous serez impliqué dans diverses activités, notamment :
- Développement et implémentation d’algorithmes avancés pour le traitement d’images, y compris la formation d’images et la correction d’images.
- Conception du système de formation d’images, depuis les données brutes jusqu’à l’amélioration de la qualité des produits.
- Définition des métriques de qualité d’image et collaboration avec les équipes d’ingénierie pour la calibration des satellites.
- Construction et maintien de l’infrastructure nécessaire pour un traitement d’images à fort volume.
- Collaboration interfonctionnelle sur des projets de conception de capteurs et d’intégration des systèmes.
Compétences et Qualifications Requises
Pour réussir dans ce poste, les candidats doivent démontrer :
- Une expérience d’au moins 5 ans dans le développement de pipelines de traitement d’images aériennes ou spatiales.
- Une expertise avérée en photogrammétrie, développement d’algorithmes et traitement des données.
- Une maîtrise de Python et des bibliothèques Python géospatiales.
- Une attitude proactive et un esprit collaboratif.
Qualifications Préférées :
- Connaissance des systèmes d’imagerie CMOS pour des applications très haute résolution.
- Expérience en géoréférencement d’images.
- Expérience antérieure dans le secteur satellite ou de la défense.

We are looking for a seasoned Image Processing Engineer experienced in development of the optical and multispectral image processing algorithms and pipelines especially for the GEOINT and ISR applications. Ideally a person who has been involved in designing and building imaging data processing and exploitation systems from the ground up: architecture, design, testing and productization of the pipelines turning raw sensor data into imagery products. The Image Processing Engineer’s role primarily involves creating and maintaining advanced processing techniques for satellite imagery, with a strong focus on: atmospheric correction, image-to-image registration, photogrammetric analysis, feature extraction, and improving image quality (super-resolution algorithms).What will you do in this role?
- Develop and implement advanced algorithms and pipelines for image processing, including image formation, denoising, mosaicing, georeferencing, orthorectification and image correction.
- Architecture the image formation system, starting from raw sensor data, edge pre-processing up to quality enhancement and product standardization.
- Define image quality metrics, lead image calibration, work together with the satellite, optical system and sensor engineering colleagues on commissioning, calibration and imaging product exploitation.
- Build and maintain the infrastructure and tools for high-volume image processing throughout their operational lifecycle.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on the sensor read-out design, system integration, performance modeling, and product definition.
- Provide technical expertise in the multidomain engineering and product team working on very high resolution system development.
RequirementsWhat will you need to be successful in this role?
- Familiarity with the electro-optical payload construction with the focus on the light capture mechanisms and sensor data read-out system.
- Understanding of end-to-end image processing chain, from sensor electronics and image ancillary data to geometric characterization.
- At least 5 years of experience in hands-on development of the aerial or spaceborne optical imagery processing pipelines and/or computer vision systems.
- Strong expertise in photogrammetry, data processing and algorithm development.
- Experience in prototyping software solutions for edge imaging data processing working hand-in-hand with the hardware and embedded systems teams on coupling light capture system and fundamental image signal processing with the image formation back-end.
- Familiarity with AI-based solutions for image processing and quality enhancement, specifically for the super-resolution processing field.
- Deep understanding of Remote Sensing and EO data collection and processing techniques. Familiarity with image analysis and geointelligence data handling.
- Proficiency in Python with the knowledge of GDAL and geospatial Python libraries.
- Proactive attitude, willingness to work with the team, share knowledge and actively participate in creating solutions for imaging instruments from the ground up.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with CMOS-based imaging systems for very high resolution applications.
- Experience with imagery georeferencing.
- Familiarity with sensor fusion techniques.
- Previous experience in the satellite and/or defense industry is a plus.
