Offre de stage : Une opportunité de stage de recherche pour l’attribution d’une bourse de recherche (SRG) a été ouverte dans le cadre du projet Needifree. Ce projet se concentrera sur le développement de *patchs ioniques personnalisés* pour une administration transdermique efficace et non invasive des vaccins à ARN messager.
Conditions d’admission
1. **Domaine scientifique** : Biotechnologie.
2. **Source de financement** : Le financement provient de la *Fondation pour la Science et la Technologie* (FCT) et du *Fonds Européen de Développement Régional* (FEDER) dans le cadre du programme Compete 2030.
3. **Exigences** : Les candidats doivent être inscrits dans un programme de maîtrise en biotechnologie et posséder une formation scientifique de base. Une expérience préalable dans la préparation de *hydrogels* pour des applications biomédicales sera valorisée. Les preuves d’inscription doivent être fournies avant l’octroi du contrat.
4. **Éligibilité** : Les candidats doivent respecter les conditions d’éligibilité établies par la législation en vigueur, notamment celles décrites dans le *Décret-Loi n° 123/2019*.
Plan de travail
Le plan de travail inclut la préparation d’**ionogels**, lesquels sont des gels capables d’encapsuler l’ARN messager pour une administration transdermique.
Durée et rémunération
– **Durée de la bourse** : 10 mois, à compter de septembre 2025, avec possibilité de renouvellement.
– **Montant de l’allocation mensuelle** : **651,12 €**, conformément à la réglementation en vigueur, avec remboursement possible pour la sécurité sociale.
Méthodes de sélection
Les méthodes de sélection incluront l’évaluation du curriculum vitae (CV) pour un total de 100 %, dont :
– **Parcours académique et scientifique** : 70 %
– **Expérience en préparation de hydrogels** : 30 %
Des entretiens pourront être réalisés avec les trois meilleurs candidats.
Composition du jury de sélection
– **Président** : Doutor Augusto Quaresma Henriques Pedro, Chercheur Junior à l’Université d’Aveiro.
– **Membres** : Professeur Doutor Mara Guadalupe Freire Martins et Doutora Ana Paula Mora Tavares de l’Université d’Aveiro.

📝 Description du poste : Offer DescriptionA tender is hereby opened for the award of one (1) StartingResearch Grant (SRG) in the scope of R&D projects/R&D Needifree, “Unit Customized ionic liquid patches for efficient and non-invasive transdermal delivery of messenger RNA vaccines”, COMPETE2030-FEDER-00777000), from CICECO – Aveiro Institute of Materials, under the following conditions:1. Scientific Area: Biotechnology.2. Funding Source:Foundation for Science and Technology/MCTES, I.P., through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union, through the Compete 2030 Programme of Portugal 2030 or other programs that may succeed it.3. Admission Requirements:Students enrolled in the Master in Biotechnology that aim to obtain initial scientific formation in research projects. Previous experience on the preparation of hydrogels for biomedical applications will be valued.The proof of enrolment must be made available until the contract is awarded, and the candidate may attach a to confirm that they meet the requirements for enrolment in a higher professional technician course, undergraduate degree, integrated master’s degree or master’s or in a course that does not confer an academic degree.If the qualification has been conferred by a foreign higher education institution it must be recognized by a Portuguese higher education institution, under the terms of the provisions of article 25 of Decree-Law no. 66/2018, of August 16th, which approves the legal regime of recognition of academic degrees and diplomas of Higher Education, attributed by foreign higher education institutions, and of paragraph e) of no. 2 of article 4 of Decree-Law no. 60/2018, of August 3rd, and any formalities established therein must be fulfilled by the date of the hiring act.4. Eligibility: Applicants are eligible if they comply with paragraph a) of no.1 of article 2, of the as amended by Decree-Law no. 123/2019, of August 28th, as well as nos. 1 and 2 of article 5 . (The SRG(s) cannot be awarded to those who have already benefited from research grants directly or indirectly funded by FCT, awarded under the terms of the Research Fellow Statute and of no. 5 of article 5 of the aforementioned5.Work plan: The working plan comprises the preparation of ionogels (gels in which ionic liquids are dispersed onto a solid network) for the encapsulation of messenger RNA for transdermal administration.6. Applicable legislation and regulations: Statute of Scientific Research Grant Holder, as amended by Decree-Law no. 123/2019, of August 28th; Regulation no. 950/2019, of November 29th, published in Diário da República, no. 241, Series II, of December 16th (FCT, I.P. Research Grants Regulation); Decree-Law no. 66/2018, of August 16th (Legal regime for recognition of academic degrees and diplomas of higher education awarded by foreign higher education institutions).7. Workplace: The work will be carried out at CICECO – Aveiro Institute of Materials / Department of Chemistry of the University of Aveiro, under the scientific supervision of Professor Mara Guadalupe Freire Martins.8. Duration of the grant(s): The grant duration will be ten (10) months, starting in September of 2025, and may be renewed for equal periods until the end of the funding period, but may in no case last more than one year, according to the terms of nos. 3 and 4 of article 5 of Regulation no. 950/2019, of November 29th, published in Diário da República, no. 241, Series II, of December 16th (FCT, I.P. Research Grants Regulation).9. Amount of monthly maintenance allowance: The amount of the grant corresponds to €651,12, according to the table of monthly maintenance allowance amounts set out in Annex I of Regulation no. 950/2019, subject to any updates that may be applicable, under the terms of no. 2 of article 18 of Regulation no. 950/2019, of November 29th, published in Diário da República, no. 241, Series II, of December 16th (Research Grants Regulation of FCT, I.P.). The fellow may also be reimbursed for the amount corresponding to the Voluntary Social Security, in case of adherence to this plan10. Selection methods: The selection methods to be used will be the following: curriculum vitae assessment, with the respective value of 100%. Curriculum vitae assessment will be based on the following values: Academic and scientific path (70%); Experience in processes related to the preparation and characterization of hydrogels for biomedical applications (30%). If the jury deems indispensable, interviews will be carried out to the best three (3) candidates, being in this case the curriculum vitae assessment valued in 70% and the interview in 30%.11. Composition of the Selection Jury: Chair: Doutor Augusto Quaresma Henriques Pedro, Junior Researcher of the University of Aveiro. For the purposes of prior hearing of interested parties, the deadline of 10 working days is set, as provided for in the Code of Administrative Procedure. At the end of the period for hearing the interested parties, and in the absence of any response from them, the list of candidates will become final. Candidates may lodge a complaint against the final decision within 15 working days, or appeal to the maximum executive body of the funding entity within 30 working days after notification of the final decision, in accordance with the provisions of article 12 of the Research Grants Regulation of the Foundation for Science and Technology.14.
