Le Rôle du Production Planning Team
Le Production Planning Team est fondamental au sein de cette nouvelle installation, garantissant la coordination sans faille des volumes de production, du flux de matériaux et de la planification des opérations. Ce rôle est essentiel pour atteindre les objectifs de production tout en conservant une flexibilité pour répondre aux demandes du marché.
Vos Missions Principales
Dans le cadre de vos fonctions en tant que Production Planning Management (PPM) Engineer, vos responsabilités incluront :
- Analyse et vérification : Évaluer la structure du Bill of Materials (BOM) pour assurer la configuration correcte des produits.
- Gestion des modifications : Coordonner l’introduction des changements de production et mettre à jour les systèmes locaux avec les nouvelles données.
- Communication interdépartementale : Distribuer les informations concernant les modifications aux différentes équipes et orchestrer des réunions de changement.
- Suivi des matériaux : Surveiller et signaler les matériaux obsolètes en collaboration avec la Supply Chain pour minimiser le gaspillage.
- Support à la planification : Offrir une assistance à la planification de la production et contribuer au développement des systèmes d’information dans l’usine.

This team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless coordination of production volumes, material flow, and scheduling across the manufacturing operations of Volvo’s first fully electric vehicle plant in Slovakia.The Production Planning team ensures that Volvo Cars is grounded in operational excellence, enabling the plant to meet its production targets while maintaining flexibility and responsiveness to market demands.What you’ll doAs a Production Planning Management (PPM) Engineer you will be responsible for managing and coordinating product changes or production plans (based on your experience). At Volvo Cars, this role is especially critical in ensuring that production aligns with evolving customer demands, product specifications and operational efficiency goals. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Plant Change order coordinator to manage and support the introduction of running changes in our production plant.
- Analyze and verify the Bill of Materials (BOM) structure, investigate errors, and ensure accurate product configuration for all vehicles built in the plant.
- Manage the introduction of running changes, coordinate with internal departments and update local systems with change order data.
- Distribute change order information across departments, manage the change note meetings, and collaborate with plant departments
- Monitor and report on obsolete materials, working with Supply Chain Control to minimize waste and avoid overstocking.
- Provide detailed breakdowns for project vehicles, support production planning when needed, and help steer building information systems in the plant.
CompensationBase Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 1.850 EUR.
- The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
