Poste : R&D Manager I (Permanent)

Ce rôle est une occasion unique de diriger une équipe de recherche et développement (R&D) à Clonmel, qui est dédiée au développement de nouveaux dispositifs médicaux en collaboration avec des partenaires globaux. Le candidat retenu jouera un rôle clé dans l’intégration réussie de nouvelles unités commerciales ainsi que dans la maintenance de produits commerciaux.

Objectifs et responsabilités clés

Recruter et développer des talents au sein de l’organisation.
Coordonner le travail de conception avec d’autres fonctions internes et externes.
Encourager un environnement de travail diversifié et engagé.
Foster une culture d’innovation pour promouvoir le développement de nouveaux produits.
Veiller à ce que la vision et les valeurs de l’organisation guident toutes les décisions.
Assurer un leadership efficace face aux changements.
Établir des partenariats stratégiques pour atteindre les objectifs organisationnels.
Développer et exécuter des politiques organisationnelles et opérationnelles.
Surveiller la conformité aux politiques et procédures de l’entreprise.
Décider des processus de travail et des plans d’opération pour atteindre les objectifs.
Gérer le budget annuel du département et en surveiller les ajustements.
Établir la stratégie et la vision de l’équipe pour offrir une valeur au consommateur.

Exigences en matière de gestion

Encadrer et développer le personnel pour atteindre les objectifs organisationnels.
Favoriser un lieu de travail inclusif permettant à chacun de donner le meilleur de soi-même.
Manager les activités et le budget de divers domaines fonctionnels.
Afficher une conformité rigoureuse avec les politiques légales et réglementaires.

Qualifications requises

Diplôme de niveau 8 en ingénierie mécanique, biomédicale, ou dans un domaine similaire.
5 à 7 ans d’expérience en leadership technique et managérial dans un environnement comparable.

This team is responsible for the development of new medical-device products with global partners, ensuring the successful integration of new business units into Boston Scientific, and the sustaining of commercial medical-device products based in the Clonmel plant. The successful candidate will be passionate about innovation in the medical-device industry, and will contribute strongly to the formation of future departmental strategies on talent, technology & capability development. The role will require global collaboration with several on-site & cross-site functions throughout the organisation.Key Responsibilities:

Recruits, coaches and develops organizational talent.
Coordinates design work with other internal and external functions.
Fosters a diverse & engaged workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
Fosters an innovative culture to promote new product development.
Keeps the organization’s vision and values at the forefront of decision making and action.
Demonstrates effective change leadership.

Monitors compliance with company policies and procedures.

Develops, monitors and appropriately adjusts the annual budget for department(s).
Establishes the strategy & vision of the team. Ensures that strategies provide value to the consumer and create a sustainable competitive advantage in the market place.

Management Requirements:

May lead a group or team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals.
Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports, and if applicable, drive those practices throughout their organization.
Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
May direct and control the activities and budget of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups, projects/programs and/or operations.
Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements).

Education and Experience Requirements

Level 8 Honors Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering or similar discipline.
Minimum 5-7 years demonstrated People and Technical Leadership within a comparable environment.
