Description Générale du Poste

AECOM propose une opportunité immédiate pour un Ingénieur Senior spécialisé dans les barrages à Panama City. Ce poste implique plusieurs responsabilités clés, notamment :

• Conception de barrages et bassins de retenue, allant de l’étape conceptuelle à la conception détaillée.
• Gestion des propositions préparatoires en tant que Capture Manager.
• Inspection et évaluation des conditions des barrages existants.
• Analyse d’alternatives, études de faisabilité et conception détaillée, avec une connaissance des dessins techniques et des spécifications.
• Recherche de nouvelles exigences influençant les programmes.
• Analyse des modes de défaillance potentielle et analyses de risque pour les barrages.
• Liaison avec les clients et expérience en matière de conseils techniques.
• Gestion de projet avec des équipes multidisciplinaires.
• Encadrement et développement technique des jeunes ingénieurs.

Exigences du Poste

Qualification Minimum :

• Baccalauréat en ingénierie civile ou domaine connexe, avec au moins 10 ans d’expérience pertinente.
• Expérience dans le domaine des barrages en terre.
• Expérience confirmée dans des projets de barrages, incluant inspection, réhabilitation ou nouvelles conceptions.

Qualifications Préférées :

• Plus de 15 ans d’expérience pertinente.
• Compétences interpersonnelles exceptionnelles et capacité de supervision du personnel.
• Capacité de communication écrite et présentation dans des contextes internes et externes.
• Bilinguisme : anglais et espagnol.

Join us and let’s get started.Job DescriptionAECOM has an immediate opportunity available for a Senior Dams Engineer (Embankment) for employment in Panama City, Panama.The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Conceptual to detailed design of water dams, retarding basins, service basins
• Perform as Capture Manager for pre-positioning and preparing proposals
• Inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams including review and surveillance of monitoring data.
• Perform Alternatives Analyses, Feasibility Studies, and Detailed Designs with strong knowledge of design drawings and technical specifications.
• Keeps informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs and applications.
• Conduct potential failure mode analyses and risk analyses for water storage and hydropower dams, including identifying and developing potential failure modes, and serving as Independent Consultant or Facilitator in risk analysis workshops.
• Client liaison and experience with technical review boards.
• Project management of multidisciplinary teams and the engagement of AECOM’s operations/finance teams
• Mentoring and technical development of junior staff, supporting them to achieve technical success
• Makes decisions independently on technical problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work.
• Supervision received is essentially administrative, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits

QualificationsMinimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Experience with embankment dams
• Relevant experience with Dam projects including inspection, rehabilitation and/or new design and construction.
• Experience in performing inspection, design, and/or engineering activities in dams or water retaining structures

Preferred Qualifications

• 15 years or more experience including relevant experience with Dam projects including inspection, rehabilitation and/or new design and construction.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, staff supervision, strong negotiation skills and conflict resolution abilities
• Excellent written communications and presentation abilities in internal project settings with the project team, external project stakeholders, and leadership.
• Bilingual – English and Spanish
