Présentation du rôle
La City of Newcastle recherche un *Senior Ecologist* pour diriger des projets de conservation ayant un impact significatif et façonner l’avenir environnemental de la région. Ce poste permanent offre une *semaine de travail de 35 heures*, avec des arrangements de travail flexibles. En tant que Senior Ecologist, vous aurez l’opportunité d’influencer directement les initiatives environnementales ainsi que la qualité de vie de la communauté.
Responsabilités clés
- Diriger des projets de conservation et de régénération écologique.
- Offrir des conseils écologiques experts pour le programme de renouvellement des actifs environnementaux, projets de restauration au sol, et la planification stratégique.
- Contribuer à l’élaboration de politiques et de plans d’action environnementaux tels que le Urban Forest Action Plan et le Water Sensitive Cities Action Plan.
- Assurer la protection et l’amélioration des actifs naturels de Newcastle.
