Description du poste : Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Facilities Management team, including cleaning, security, customer service, event management, landscaping, office administration, and procurement.
• Manage and evaluate the performance of in-house and contractor staff, providing training and support to enhance service delivery.
• Supervise on-site activities to minimize health and safety risks and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Coordinate renovation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while meeting quality standards.
• Advise on best practices through research and planning for future initiatives.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
• Negotiate major facilities service contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors.
• Implement operational strategies while exercising effective budget and cost control.
• Maintain strong client relationships and facilitate meetings to address facility-related issues.
• Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and university stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.
• Support and promote sustainable practices in campus operations.
• Prepare and execute the Crisis Management Plan, conducting regular drills for staff and stakeholders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in facilities management, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior management role.
• Experience in managing facilities within campus, hospitality, or commercial settings is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in coordinating renovation projects is essential.
