Join a long-standing organisation in the insurance sector and play a pivotal role in driving transformation and performance across the business.As the Finance Executive, you will lead all financial reporting, operational finance, and business analysis activities for the division. You’ll oversee internal and external financial reporting processes, drive finance transformation initiatives, and provide leadership that supports the organisation’s strategic and commercial goals.
Reach out toDuties:

• Preparing and reviewing journal entries, ledgers, trial balances, and financial statements
• Overseeing fixed asset and inventory accounting
• Delivering accurate financial reporting (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements)
• Developing financial guidelines to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices
• Conducting risk analysis and compliance checks
• Supporting business performance through robust financial modelling and insights
• Advising management based on data-driven financial analysis
• Collaborating on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Engaging with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making

Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Degree
• BCom Honours / CTA
• CA(SA)

Experience:

• Completed Articles (advantageous)
• 4–6 years’ experience as an Accountant, preferably in insurance or financial services
• At least 1–2 years in a Senior Accountant capacity
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Income Tax Act, VAT Act
• Solid grasp of fixed asset accounting and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset
• Ability to communicate with and influence senior stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a complex, evolving environment
