Résumé de l’Emploi

Le Senior Manager, Translation supervisera une équipe de traducteurs et sera responsable de la fourniture de services de traduction écrits et oraux de haut niveau. Le candidat idéal maîtrisera les outils de traduction électroniques et manuels pour garantir une communication claire et précise.

Responsabilités Clés

• Gestion d’Équipe : Diriger l’équipe de traduction, allouer les ressources et approuver toutes les traductions.
• Formation et Outils : S’assurer que les outils de traduction sont adéquats et que l’équipe est formée à leur utilisation.
• Interprétation : Traduire des textes complexes en tenant compte des nuances culturelles.
• Rédaction et Révision : Évaluer et affiner les traductions pour en assurer l’exactitude et la clarté.
• Veille Professionnelle : Se tenir au courant des évolutions dans le domaine de la traduction.
• Objectifs de Service : Supporter la direction dans la sélection, la formation et l’évaluation des traducteurs.
• Standards Opérationnels : Contribuer aux plans stratégiques concernant les services de traduction.

Qualifications Requises

• Formation : Licence en Traduction, en Anglais ou expérience équivalente avec au moins 10 ans d’expérience pertinente.
• Compétences Linguistiques : Maîtrise de l’arabe et de l’anglais, avec des compétences élevées en rédaction et en traduction.
• Terminologie Spécialisée : Connaissance approfondie des termes spécialisés dans des domaines variés tels que le droit, la finance, et la technologie.
• Logiciels de Traduction : Expérience avec des outils de traduction comme SDL Studio.
• Bureautique : Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications Appréciées

• Expérience Locale : Connaissance des opérations commerciales étrangères en Arabie Saoudite.
• Certification : Certification reconnue dans le domaine de la traduction/interprétation.

This role is responsible for providing expert-level written and oral translation and interpretation services. The ideal candidate will leverage both electronic and manual translation methods to ensure clear, accurate, and effective multilingual communication.Responsibilities to Anticipate

• Lead and manages the translation team, allocates resource, reviews and approves all translation.
• Ensures that translation tools are adequate and that the translation team is coached in its use.
• Interpret and translate complex texts while considering cultural nuances and context; consult dictionaries, thesauri, and subject-matter references as needed.
• Evaluate and refine translations for accuracy, clarity, and grammatical correctness, making necessary adjustments to enhance meaning.
• Proofread and verify translated documents to ensure consistency and precision.
• Updates job knowledge by reading publications in the source language; participating in educational opportunities; maintaining personal networks
• Accomplishes translation service objectives by supporting management in selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions of translators.
• Meets translation operational standards by contributing translation services to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying translation system improvements.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor of Translation, English, or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English, with expert-level reading, writing, and translation skills.
• Extensive knowledge of specialized terminology across various domains, including business, finance, technology, law, and science.
• Experience with the translation software (SDL Studio or similar), using it for translation (assigning tasks and monitoring progress), proofreading (providing feedback in the software), and maintenance of and updating internal translation memories shared by the translation team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with MS Access and MS Project is a plus.

Qualifications we value:

• Experience with foreign business operations in KSA and legacy knowledge of program specific requirements and activity a plus
• Accredited industry certification in translation / interpreting a plus. Education, certification, or both may be substitute for experience.
