SENIOR PROPERTY UNDERWRITER

Intégré au sein de l’équipe des biens, le Senior Property Underwriter sera chargé de développer et d’exécuter la stratégie d’Allianz sur le marché italien. Ce poste, basé à Milan, exige des interactions étroites avec le groupe tout en soutenant les objectifs locaux de l’entreprise pour atteindre les cibles établies par Allianz Mid Corporate.

Responsabilités Clés

• Veiller à la conformité des souscripteurs avec les lignes directrices en matière d’autorité de souscription, de tarification et de classification.
• Gérer le portefeuille local en collaboration avec le Responsable des Biens pour atteindre les objectifs financiers.
• Collaborer avec les différentes fonctions pour examiner la performance du cycle de vie de souscription.
• Travailler étroitement avec les départements des ventes, de consultation des risques, des sinistres et d’autres lignes de produits.
• Assurer la cohérence et la discipline en matière de souscription, ainsi que la conformité avec les règlements d’entreprise.
• Participer au développement et à l’implémentation de nouveaux produits.
• Soutenir l’acquisition et la rétention des affaires, en particulier lors des négociations avec des agents et courtiers.
• Communiquer la stratégie commerciale locale aux parties externes.

Compétences et Qualifications Requises

• Diplôme de Master en ingénierie, économie ou droit.
• Min. 5 ans d’expérience avérée dans la souscription de biens pour clients d’entreprise, incluant PD/BI et vol.
• Préférence pour ceux ayant de l’expérience avec les clients multinationaux et une connaissance en responsabilité.
• Compétences avérées en leadership et évaluation des risques.
• Connaissance approfondie de la tarification et compétences en analyse de marché.
• Expérience dans la conception et la mise en œuvre de formulaires de souscription robustes.
• Esprit entrepreneurial et compétences en communication.
• Capacité à travailler au sein d’une organisation internationale.
• Maîtrise de l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
• Compétences en analyse de données et bonne connaissance des outils collaboratifs, notamment Office 365.

📝 Description du poste : Job Purpose/RoleBased in Milan and reporting to the Property Team, you will be in charge of developing and executing the strategy into the Italian market. With strong ties to the Group, you will also support the local strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the Allianz Mid Corporate targets. You will be also the contact person for agents and/or brokers working with the Property team.Key Responsibilities

• Ensure underwriters comply with underwriting authority, pricing and rating guidelines.
• Steer and control the portfolio at local level in conjunction with the Head of Property to drive the achievement of financial targets.
• Proactively liaise with functional areas to review performance of end-to-end underwriting life cycle.
• Work closely with Sales departments, Risk Consulting, Claims and other product lines to achieve key marketing strategies, including cross-selling.
• Ensure underwriting consistency and underwriting discipline and adherence to all corporate guidelines and authority levels, including Rules and Principles, Underwriting Authorities, corporate governance rules and local regulatory framework.
• Proactively support the development and implementation of new and/or modified products
• Support the acquisition of new business and retention of existing business (including agent and broker negotiations)
• Communicate local business strategy externally

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Economics or Law
• At least 5 years’ proven experience in underwriting profitable Property business for Corporate Clients both PD/BI and Theft
• Preference if also experienced in Multinational clients as well as knowledge in Liability.
• Proven leadership skills
• Expertise in risk assessment and a firm understanding of policy administration life cycle.
• Sound knowledge of pricing, together with strong market analysis skills
• Ideally experience in designing, developing, and implementing consistent and robust wordings
• Ideally experience in driving underwriting projects
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work in an international organization.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken
• Data Analytics
• Very good knowledge in Office 365 and other collaborative tools
