Collins Aerospace, une entité de Raytheon Technologies, recherche un Senior Software Engineer spécialisé dans les systèmes embarqués sous Linux. Ce poste est situé à Aguadilla, Porto Rico, et requiert la capacité d’obtenir et de maintenir une habilitation de sécurité gouvernementale américaine de niveau Secret. La candidature est ouverte uniquement aux citoyens américains.
Le candidat retenu participera au développement de systèmes de communication avancés, essentiels pour la sécurité et la mise en relation des membres militaires. Ce rôle implique une collaboration interdisciplinaire avec des équipes de FPGA, de matériel et de systèmes.
Principales Responsabilités
Les responsabilités incluent :
- Conception et développement : Créer et améliorer un écosystème Linux sur mesure, en gérant les outils de construction, le noyau, le système de fichiers, le chargeur de démarrage, les pilotes de périphériques et les BSP pour divers matériels.
- Analyse des pannes : Participer à l’identification et à la résolution de problèmes complexes entre le matériel et le logiciel.
- Préparation des builds : Préparer les logiciels pour des environnements de simulation et pour le matériel cible, utilisant les processus et outils appropriés de Collins Aerospace.
- Estimation : Contribuer aux évaluations des fonctionnalités des produits.
Formation et Compétences
Qualifications Requises :
- Diplôme en Science, Technologie, Ingénierie ou Mathématiques (STEM) avec 5 ans d’expérience pertinente ou un diplôme avancé avec 3 ans d’expérience.
- Excellente communication en anglais, à l’écrit et à l’oral.
- Capacité à obtenir une habilitation de sécurité gouvernementale et nécessité d’être citoyen américain.
Préférences en matière de Compétences :
- Proficience en C/C++ embarqué, Bash et Python.
- Expérience avec les pilotes de périphériques Linux embarqués.
- Connaissance des outils de débogage comme l’analyseur logique et Wireshark.
- Utilisation de systèmes de contrôle de version comme GIT et SVN.
- Expérience avec l’intégration matérielle et la méthode Agile.

- Design, develop and continuously enhance our customized Linux OS ecosystem and maintain ownership over areas such as build toolchain, kernel, root filesystem, bootloader, device drivers, and BSP for a wide variety of hardware boards.
- Contribute to the design, coding, testing, delivery and ongoing support for embedded Linux software systems.
- Participate in root cause analysis and resolution of complex hardware-software issues.
- Prepare software builds for execution in a simulation environment, reference platforms and on the target hardware. Understand and utilize the appropriate Collins Aerospace processes and tools during product development, resulting in increased product quality and improving customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to engineering estimates for product features.

Qualifications you must have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Must have or be capable of obtaining/maintaining an active U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level or higher. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Proficiency with embedded C/C++
- Experience with scripting languages (Bash and Python)
- Experience with embedded Linux device drivers
- Experience with board bring-up and target hardware integration
- Experience with debugging and root cause investigations using hardware schematics and tools such as logic analyzer and Wireshark
- Experience with GIT and SVN version control systems
- Experience packaging custom Linux distribution with Buildroot.
- Experience in developing and maintaining Linux board support packages (BSP) for embedded systems
- Development experience Agile methodologies and DevSecOps
