Description du Poste

Le salaire pour ce poste est proposé entre **¥12-16 millions par an**. Le rôle nécessite une combinaison de compétences techniques, d’innovation et de collaboration dans un environnement agile. Les responsabilités comprennent :

• Gestion du développement de solutions : Vous serez responsable du processus de développement des solutions pour les clients, depuis la définition des exigences jusqu’à l’intégration dans leurs flux de travail.
• Analyse des besoins clients : Identifiez et traduisez les besoins des clients en termes techniques abordables par les technologies de calcul quantique et classique.
• Veille technologique : Restez informé sur les algorithmes quantiques et les algorithmes de calcul haute performance, ainsi que sur des domaines d’application tels que les services financiers, la science des matériaux et la sécurité nationale.
• Prototypage : Développez des solutions de manière autonome et en collaboration avec l’équipe dédiée aux applications quantiques, tout en gérant les défis qui peuvent survenir.
• Évaluation des approches : Concevrez et évaluerez continuellement des méthodes pour résoudre de nouveaux problèmes, tenant compte de divers facteurs tels que le coût, la complexité et l’impact commercial des solutions.
• Représentation de l’entreprise : Agissez en tant que représentant d’OQC lors de conférences et collaborations, en partageant votre expertise à travers des présentations.
• Encadrement : Offrez un mentorat et partagez vos connaissances traçant un chemin pour le développement des ingénieurs logiciels de l’équipe.

Compétences Requises

Le candidat idéal doit :
– Posséder un **expérience significative** en développement de solutions dans des environnements scientifiques complexes.
– Avoir une maîtrise des langages de programmation, notamment **Python** et ses bibliothèques scientifiques, avec une capacité en **C/C++** ou d’autres langages de bas niveau comme **Rust**, souhaitable.
– Avoir des connaissances dans les applications de calcul haute performance (HPC), ainsi qu’en mathématiques appliquées.
– Une connaissance des algorithmes de calcul quantique est un atout, bien que non indispensable.

Conditions Linguistiques et Culturelles

La capacité à communiquer **couramment en japonais et en anglais** est requise, facilitant ainsi les interactions avec les clients au Japon et la collaboration avec l’équipe technique au Royaume-Uni.

📝 Description du poste : Senior Solution Architect – ¥12-16m per annumAt we are putting Quantum in the hands of humanity. As a Senior Solution Architect you will be instrumental in this mission; working with current and potential end-users to identify opportunities to advance quantum computing solutions. You will be hands-on developing prototypes, accelerating the adoption of this emerging technology to help solve some of the most challenging problems our world faces.You’re a proven innovator with experience of rapid prototyping to problem solve and produce pioneering solutions to technical problems. Thriving in an agile environment, you are ready to take on the challenge of leading the analysis, design, building, testing and implementation of customer solutions that address industry’s needs.As a Senior Solution Architect, you will be reporting to (Country Manager – Japan) helping build our already existing customer presence in Japan your responsibilities will include:

• Owning the customer solution development process; from defining the requirements through to integrating the solution to customer workflow and customer acceptance.
• Identifying customer needs and translating those into technical terms that can be addressed by quantum computing technologies and classic computing technologies.
• Stay up-to-date on evolving quantum algorithms and classic HPC computing algorithms and bring a deep understanding of applications areas such as Financial Services, Material Science, Manufacturing, Cyber and National Security use cases.
• Prototyping solutions independently and in collaboration with the Quantum Applications team; managing escalations when challenges and blockers arise.
• Designing and continuously evaluating approaches to new problems; taking decisions that consider strengths and drawbacks of a range of solutions allowing for contribution factors such as cost, maintenance time, complexity and resources – Including wider business implications and technical impacts.
• Representing OQC in external networking settings such as conferences, as part of collaborative consortia, and through the authorship of materials including delivering presentations and/or participating as subject expert .
• Providing mentorship and support and knowledge sharing technical and delegating appropriate tasks to Software Engineers to support their development within the team.

Coming from a solution development background with experience working in complex scientific environments, you should be comfortable taking ownership of ground-breaking technology projects with a strong focus on quality assurance.Your deep knowledge of Python and scientific Python libraries will be essential, though the ability to code in C/C++ or other low level programming languages (such as Rust) is also highly desirable. A background in HPC applications, Middleware software and Applied Mathematics is also key for this role.Knowledge of quantum computing algorithm development would be an advantage but is not essential as long as you have the above skills and a deep desire to learn and grow your skills.As this role will involve engaging with our customers in Japan as well as collaborating with our technical team in the UK, the ability to converse in both Japanese and English fluently is required.If you think you have what it takes to solve industry’s problems and be a part of putting quantum in the hands of humanity through innovative computing solutions, then we are waiting to hear from you.At OQC, we see a brighter future for all, enabled by quantum, to find out more visit –Are you ready to help us build this future?
