Description du poste
Le poste de Senior Specialist (Systems Infrastructure) est essentiel pour garantir le bon fonctionnement et la sécurité des systèmes. Les missions principales incluent :
- Assister à la conception architecturale des systèmes et à l’implémentation de solutions adaptées aux bases de données et aux logiciels système associés.
- Gérer les logiciels de base de données, notamment DB2, Oracle et SQL.
- Assurer l’installation et la configuration des produits de bases de données.
- Élaborer des procédures de sauvegarde, de restaurations, de récupération de données et de sécurité.
- Effectuer des tâches de surveillance système, d’optimisation des performances et de planification de la capacité.
- Collaborer avec d’autres équipes techniques et adhérer aux exigences spécifiques des développeurs d’applications.
Profil recherché
Pour ce poste, les candidats doivent répondre aux critères suivants :
- Un diplôme universitaire en ingénierie électrique, informatique ou domaine connexe.
- Minimum de 7 ans d’expérience dans un rôle de DBA (administration de bases de données).
- Connaissances approfondies de DB2 et Oracle, ainsi qu’une bonne maîtrise des logiciels AIX.
- Capacité à travailler en horaires décalés et lors des jours fériés.
- Bonne maîtrise de l’anglais et du chinois, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
Les compétences en communication et la capacité à résoudre des problèmes complexes sont également essentielles pour s’épanouir dans ce rôle.

The Company’s key objective is to develop and operate a safe and efficient multi-currency and multi-dimensional financial infrastructure in Hong Kong for:large-value interbank fund transfers denominated in HKD, USD, Euro and RMB;interbank money settlement of equity and debt securities transactions in Hong Kong via the linkages with the Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited and the HKMA’s Central Moneymarkets Unit (CMU) system;small-value interbank fund transfers denominated in HKD and RMB via the HKD and RMB Faster Payment System; andinterbank clearing and/or money settlement of retail payments, such as paper cheques, autocredits, credit card payments, etc. in Hong Kong.The Company is also the operator of the HKMA’s CMU system.Apart from interbank clearing-and-settlement services, the Company and its subsidiaries also support the HKMA and the financial industry to foster the development of the financial technology (“FinTech”) ecosystem in Hong Kong.We are looking for a suitable candidate to take up the following job position.Senior Specialist (Systems Infrastructure)Major ResponsibilitiesAssist in the system architectural design and solutions for the database systems and AIX related system software to meet business requirements and cost-effectivenessUndertake DBA role for managing and administrating DB2, Oracle and SQL database softwareInstall and configure DB2, Oracle and SQL database productsDevise proper design and procedures for database backup and restore, snapshots, data recovery, disaster recovery, data mirroring, HA solution, security setup, 7×24 operation and other related featuresPerform software upgrade and apply security and software patches to the database and AIX related system softwareConduct system monitoring, performance tuning and capacity planningPerform trouble-shooting, problem solving and incident managementDevelop and keep up-to-date documentation of database systemsMaintain high system availability and database integrity and ensure high database securityWork closely with other technical teams and external vendors for database system set-up and configurationProvide technical assistance to the application development teams on database design for project developmentMonitor, time, and report systems performance in use of relevant monitoring toolsDesign, produce and conduct appropriate training sessions to colleagues for new developments in the database systemsUnder direction from the Management, investigate developments in the database software packages and utilities areas.
