Ce poste de Senior Staff Engineer se veut être une opportunité pour les professionnels passionnés par les nouvelles technologies et désireux de collaborer avec des experts de différents domaines.
Responsabilités Principales :
- Définir les spécifications cibles des variantes de SiC JFET pour diverses applications, telles que les interrupteurs de protection, les systèmes hotswap, et les circuits de protection.
- Servir d’interface technique principale entre les équipes de développement et les équipes de mise sur le marché tout au long du processus de développement du produit.
- Développer des plateformes d’évaluation d’application pour la validation des produits et la promotion auprès des clients.
- Réaliser des mesures pour valider la pertinence des solutions basées sur SiC JFET dans divers environnements d’application.
- Exécuter des tests de performance sur les produits internes et externes.
- Préparer des fiches techniques des produits et élaborer des documents de promotion, des articles techniques et des notes d’application.
- Assurer un soutien global pour les projets de conception associés aux clients.
- Réaliser des simulations pour reproduire des scénarios d’utilisation réels et en dériver des analyses.
- Relayer les retours des clients aux équipes de développement internes.
Profil Recherché
Ce poste requiert un ensemble spécifique de compétences techniques et une expérience pertinente :
- Formation : Diplôme universitaire en génie électrique ou domaine équivalent ; un diplôme avancé est un atout.
- Expérience : Plus de 5 ans dans le design, le développement ou les tests de convertisseurs souhaitée.
- Connaissances techniques : Connaissance solide des transistors de puissance (MOSFET, JFET, HEMT) et des applications WBG (SiC ou GaN).
- Compétences logicielles : Expérience avec des logiciels de simulation (Simetrix, Spice, PLECS) et de mise en page (Altium, Eagle).
- Langues : Capacité à communiquer de manière fluide en anglais ; la maîtrise de l’allemand est un plus.
- Atouts : Compétences en présentation et capacité à résoudre des problèmes en laboratoire.
- Flexibilité : Disposition à apprendre en cours d’emploi et à voyager jusqu’à 15 % du temps.
Rémunération et Conditions de Travail
Infineon offre des salaires compétitifs ainsi que des bénéfices supplémentaires basés sur la performance et l’expérience. Selon la convention collective pour les employés du secteur électrique et électronique en Autriche, le salaire mensuel sera payé 14 fois par an. Une rémunération supérieure peut être envisagée selon l’expertise et les compétences du candidat.

Then don’t miss out this chance! We are looking for a Product Definition & Application Engineer. As a core member in the technical marketing team, you will collaborate with our global Engineering, Marketing and Sales teams to support the development and go-to-market activities of SiC JFET products for solid state circuit breakers and AI datacenter applications.In your new job you will:
- Define target product specifications of SiC JFET variants for hotswap, Oring, protection switch and circuit breaker applications
- Be the main technical interface to the development and go-to-market teams during the product development and post product launch stages respectively
- Develop application evaluation platforms for product validation and customer promotion
- Perform measurements based on fit for use plan to validate the suitability of SiC JFET based solutions in applications environment and document the relevant results
- Run performance benchmarking tests of internal and external products
- Prepare the product datasheets; develop product and application literature such as application notes, technical articles, promotion material, webinars etc.
- Provide global product support for the customer design-in projects
- Run simulations to replicate real application use scenarios and derive analyses
- Cascade customer feedback to internal development teams
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A university degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field; an advanced degree is preferred and can be substituted for lack of industry experience
- Prior experience with WBG (SiC or GaN) applications is preferred
- Solid understanding of power transistor (MOSFET, JFET, HEMT) operation
- 5+ years of experience in design, development and/or test of converters, is desired
- Experience with simulation (Simetrix, Spice, PLECS) and layout (Altium, Eagle) software
- Knowledge of interpreting power MOSFET product datasheet parameters. Datasheet creation background is a plus
- Experience in technical customer support. Excellent English-speaking ability and German-speaking skill as a plus
- Good laboratory, problem solving, multi-tasking and effective presentation skills
- Willingness to learn on the job and travel up to 15% of the time
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. When staffed in Austria, the employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2024.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
