Description du poste
Le **Senior Lead Engineer, Test Development** est chargé de concevoir, développer et mettre en œuvre des équipements de test automatiques et des programmes de test destinés à la vérification de la conception des produits. Ce rôle s’inscrit au sein de l’équipe d’**Ingénierie Test** et implique un leadership technique à plusieurs niveaux.
Responsabilités principales
- Diriger le développement et l’implémentation de solutions techniques dans divers domaines, engageant une planification de projet efficace.
- Offrir un leadership technique et directionnel à une équipe d’ingénieurs, devenant un expert reconnu dans plusieurs domaines techniques.
- Analyser et négocier les exigences client, en fournissant un retour d’information précieux.
- Élaborer des stratégies et plans de test structurés ou fonctionnels, alignés sur les objectifs du projet.
- Créer des propositions techniques incluant le coût des composants, les heures estimées, et le calendrier de mise en œuvre.
- Effectuer la gestion de programmes techniques pour des projets de taille intermédiaire à grande, tout en établissant les meilleures pratiques pour l’exécution du développement des tests.
Compétences requises
- Formation : Diplôme de niveau Bachelor ou équivalent en ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe, avec 4 à 6 ans d’expérience dans un rôle similaire.
- Capacité à travailler dans un environnement de bureau normal, où des périodes prolongées d’assise et une concentration visuelle soutenue sont nécessaires.
- Compétences en leadership et capacité à gérer des équipes multidisciplinaires.

Direct/Indirect Indicator: IndirectSummaryThe Senior Lead Engineer, Test Development designs, develops and implements automatic test equipment and test programs for product testing and design verification which ensure robust and high quality assembled products in manufacturing.
A Test Development Engineer may specialize in many areas but are generally categorized into Structural (verification of an assembly process by testing each of its smaller elements and their interconnects) and Functional (verification that a design will perform its main purpose).Detailed DescriptionPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Lead the development and implementation of technical solutions in multiple domains. Participate in project planning and scheduling.
- Provides technical leadership and direction to a team of engineers. May be a recognized expert (go to person) in one or more technical areas
- Review, interpret and may negotiate customer requirements/specifications and provides customer feedback
- Lead the deployment of strategic programs and coordinate site-wide deployment efforts.
- Proactively promote industry best practices
- May manage relationships with key vendors/partners.
- Create structural or functional test strategy and test plan to meet project goals and requirements
- Create technical proposals with costed BOM, hours, and schedule estimates
- Lead requirements generation with minimal to no guidance, leveraging design specifications and technical product design data
- Provide technical program management for mid to large projects
- Establish best known methods and processes for test development execution (Structural or Functional) for local and regional teams
- Analyze industry trends and setting short term investment and skill development strategies and business cases with local or regional impact
- Develop production test strategies based on product design specification
- Design and develop test solutions including hardware & software elements and then system integration, qualification, and installation to meet product, quality and test requirements outlined in the test plan.
- Debug of tester issues using design of experiments, tools, and failure analysis methodologies
- Execute all validation/qualification requirements by applying statistical and common industry methods
- Stabilization of Test Solutions for manufacturing working to optimize with process teams focusing on cycle time and yield.
- Test developers may also work with product design teams with feedback from product testability, test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, firmware/diagnostics and user experience.
- Keeping up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
