Ce poste est proposé dans le cadre de la division Automotive Video and Data Solutions (AVDS), où le candidat sélectionné collaborera étroitement avec des constructeurs automobiles mondiaux pour concevoir et mettre en œuvre des systèmes ADAS (systèmes avancés d’assistance à la conduite) et des systèmes d’infodivertissement.

Responsabilités Clés

Le candidat devra :

• Devenir un expert produit et technique dans le domaine des High-Speed Automotive Serial Links (GMSL).
• Fournir un support technique rapide aux clients et équipes globales, notamment en éduquant, répondant aux questions, et en résolvant des problèmes.
• Évaluer des circuits intégrés (ICs) dans des environnements de laboratoire afin de collecter des données et automatiser les tests.
• Concevoir et tester des cartes d’application pour valider les produits GMSL et développer des systèmes de démonstration.
• Rédiger des documents techniques comme des notes d’application et des guides d’utilisateur.
• Travailler avec les équipes marketing pour assurer de nouvelles victoires en matière de conception auprès d’OEM et de clients de premier niveau.
• Former les ingénieurs client à l’échelle mondiale.
• Voyager à l’échelle nationale et internationale pour le support client et la formation.

Qualifications Requises

Pour être éligible à ce poste, le candidat doit posséder :

• Baccalauréat en Génie Électrique (BSEE).
• Plus de 6 ans d’expérience en applications automobiles, conception électronique ou définition de produits.
• Compétences excellentes en communication verbale et écrite.
• Connaissance des liaisons série haut débit et des protocoles de communication tels que I2C, UART, SPI, etc.
• Expérience en conception et débogage de circuits imprimés (PCB), ainsi qu’une familiarité avec le fonctionnement des FPGA, SoC et microcontrôleurs.
• Capacité à voyager globalement 2-3 semaines par trimestre.

Qualifications Préférées

Des compétences additionnelles bienvenues incluent :

• Maîtrise en Génie Électrique (MSEE) préférée.
• Expérience dans un rôle d’ingénierie d’applications ou en conception analogique/digital.
• Connaissance des systèmes électroniques automobiles, notamment ADAS et infotainment.

#LI-NA1Job Description Summary:Analog’s Automotive Video and Data Solutions (AVDS) business unit is seeking a mid- to high-level Applications Engineer as a core contributor to our cutting-edge GMSL (Gigabit Multimedia Serial Links) product line’s team. In this position you will work with global car manufacturers on their ADAS (camera) and In-Vehicle Infotainment (display) system designs and implementations. You will also design and develop hardware, firmware, and software to evaluate Analog’s integrated circuits while using high-end lab equipment to characterize device operation for both new product development and customer support.The primary work location is on-site at an Analog facility where our ACE, Serial Links engineering teams are located, with some work-from-home flexibility available. This position is targeted at our [Istanbul Turkey / Beaverton OR / Chandler AZ / Colorado Springs CO] offices.Responsibilities Include:

• Being a product and technical expert in High-Speed Automotive Serial Links (GMSL)
• Providing quick-turn technical applications support to customers, global field teams, Product Definers, and Design Engineers which includes educating, answering questions, developing architectures, and solving problems with customers related to both new and existing Analog Devices’ parts and boards
• Lab evaluation of new ICs to gain expert-level knowledge in device operation, including measurement collection and software authoring to automate bench tests
• Being a technical resource in display and camera systems, transmission line theory, industry standard control interfaces, automotive EMI/BCI standards, and automotive functional safety
• Designing, laying-out, building, and testing application boards to validate GMSL products, and developing demonstration systems to show-off industry-leading features to potential and existing customers
• Authoring technical documentation such as application notes, user guides, articles, new product proposals, and evaluation kit manuscripts for internal and/or external publication
• Working with Marketing and the global field team to secure new design wins by providing technical insight to engineers at key OEM and Tier-1 customers
• Provide trainings to FAEs and customer engineers globally
• Traveling (domestic and international) will be required for customer support and to meet with Analog’s global design and field teams to provide training, lab work, demonstrations, and other remote operations

Minimum Qualifications:

• BSEE required
• 6+ years of automotive applications, electronics design, or product definition experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of high-speed serial links / SERDES and of serial communications protocols such as I2C, UART, SPI, I2S, and RMII/RGMII/SGMII
• Working knowledge of PCB design and layout, system/hardware debug experience, and familiarity with FPGA, SOC, and microcontroller operation
• Self-motivated, multi-tasker with the ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional and interdepartmental teams
• Ability to travel globally 2-3 weeks per quarter

Preferred Qualifications:

• MSEE preferred
• Existing experience in an Applications Engineering role, in analog or digital design, or in a Systems Engineering role
• Experience in PCB design, layout, and signal integrity/power delivery simulations
• Working knowledge of video transmission standards such as DisplayPort, HDMI, oLDI, and others
• Working knowledge of automotive electronic systems, particularly ADAS and infotainment, automotive safety and quality standards and EMI/EMC standards
