Description du Poste

Le rôle de **Team Lead Olefin Cracker & NGLE** est essentiel au sein d’OQ, principalement axé sur **l’ingénierie des processus**. Ce poste est rattaché au **Head of Process Engineering** et supervise une équipe de huit ingénieurs spécialisés, comportant six ingénieurs en oléfines et deux spécialistes en NGLE (Natural Gas Liquids Extraction).

Mission Principale

Le titulaire du poste sera responsable de la **direction et de la coordination** des services d’ingénierie pour les opérations de l’oléfines et NGLE, visant à :

  1. Résoudre des problèmes opérationnels complexes.
  2. Assurer que les services d’ingénierie des processus sont en ligne avec les objectifs de l’entreprise.
  3. Encadrer et former de nouveaux talents pour encourager la montée en compétence au sein de l’équipe.

Cette mission se déroule dans le respect des politiques et des standards de sécurité établis par OQ, ainsi que des réglementations applicables en Oman.

Responsabilités Clés

**Optimisation des Processus** : Utilisation d’une approche systématique pour identifier et mettre en œuvre des améliorations dans les opérations de distillation, de craquage, et d’hydrocraquage.

Contrôle des Processus : Mise en œuvre de la surveillance et de l’analyse en temps réel pour éliminer les inefficacités et optimiser l’utilisation des ressources.

Qualité des Produits : Mise en œuvre d’analyses de données pour garantir que les exigences réglementaires en matière de qualité sont respectées dans l’installation et la mise à jour des processus.

Exigences du Poste

Formation : Diplôme en **Génie Chimique** ou équivalent.
Expérience : Plus de **8 ans** d’expérience dans le secteur pétrolier et gazier, spécifiquement dans un rôle similaire.
Compétences Linguistiques : Maîtrise de l’anglais (oral et écrit) ; l’arabe est un plus.

Compétences Requises

**Compétences techniques** : Connaissance des systèmes DCS, de la sécurité des processus, et des normes internationales.
**Compétences personnelles** : Excellentes aptitudes à la communication, capacités analytiques, et sens de l’initiative.

Job Purpose:Leads, and coordinates, the Process Engineering services at Olefin Cracker & NGLE under Head Process Engineering Services scope’s, acting as Olefin Cracker & NGLE added value partner for the provision of professional/technical leadership, managing activities and assigned team for the development and implementation of continuous improvement & process engineering-based activity interacting between CoE (Central Process Engineering, Control & Product quality) and the client (Olefin Cracker & NGLE) by: (1) Leading the resolution of complex operational problems in Olefin Cracker & NGLE plants (2) Co-ordinates the team to ensure that process engineering services management meets RPI AD management strategy and performance goals and (3) guidance and support to the operations and the corresponding engineering, maintenance and operation; in order to ensure projects and service targets are achieved efficiently and to optimum standards while identifying & developing talent people to as feeder for AD talent pipeline.The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines, and standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.Main tasks and responsibilitiesProcess Optimization: The systematic approach of analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to optimize production (improving efficiency and effectiveness) of various processes including distillation, cracking, hydrotreating, reforming, and blending, among others, to improve their performance by minimizing energy consumption, reducing operating costs, and maximizing production.Process Control: Real-time monitoring, simulation, modelling, and data analytics to enable the identification process inefficiencies, reduce waste and emissions, and optimize the use of raw materials, energy, and other resourcesProduct Quality: Data analytics that aim to meet regulatory requirements for product quality in process installations, upgrades, and maintenanceScope:Olefin CrackerSteam Cracker: Steam cracking furnaces to produce lighter alkenes (or commonly olefins), including ethene (or ethylene) and propene (or propylene).Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE): Pyrolysis gasoline or Pygas production processUtilities: Steam, Fuel,Various waters, air, electrical power, and sewers, Utilities Co-Generation SystemsNGLE:Pre-treatment: Removing any impurities from the natural gas such as sulfur compounds, water, and other contaminants that can damage equipment or affect the quality of the natural gas liquids).Compression: Natural gas is then compressed to increase its pressure and facilitate the separation of the natural gas liquids.Refrigeration: The compressed natural gas is then cooled to low temperatures using refrigeration units. The cooling process causes the natural gas liquids to condense into a liquid state.Separation: The natural gas liquids are then separated from the natural gas using a series of distillation towers. The distillation process separates the natural gas liquids into different fractions based on their boiling points.Fractionation: The different fractions of natural gas liquids are then further processed through fractionation to separate them into their individual components such as ethane, propane, butane, and natural gasoline.Product recovery: The final step in the NGLE process is product recovery.
