Description du Poste

Ce poste de **Test Automation Engineer** est centré sur l’automatisation des tests d’un produit complexe utilisé dans la gestion du trafic aérien et d’autres secteurs régulés. Intégré au sein d’une équipe de développement multiculturelle, le candidat aura pour mission d’assurer la vérification des solutions de l’entreprise, en particulier le système GuardX.

Tâches Clés

Les responsabilités incluent, mais ne sont pas limitées à :

• Planification des stratégies de vérification : Élaboration de spécifications de test basées sur les exigences produit et les scénarios d’utilisation.
• Développement de cas de test automatisés : Création et maintenance conforme aux spécifications établies.
• Analyse initiale des défauts : Évaluation des causes profondes des observations constatées lors des tests.
• Gestion des environnements de test : Création et maintenance des environnements nécessaires ainsi que des données de test.
• Reporting : Mise en place d’un reporting efficace pour fournir à l’équipe une vue précise sur le statut des vérifications.

Qualifications Requises

Le candidat idéal devra posséder un minimum de trois ans d’expérience pratique dans le domaine des tests automatisés, notamment avec Java et JBehave. Les compétences spécifiques exigées incluent :

• Connaissance des systèmes de gestion des tests : Expérience dans l’utilisation de systèmes visant à gérer et suivre les activités de test.
• Intégration continue : Familiarité avec Jenkins et la mise en place de pipelines.
• Compétences en réseaux IP : Aptitude à naviguer dans des environnements de systèmes d’exploitation Windows et Linux/Unix.

These ‘Control Centre Solutions’ are developed and distributed by Frequentis in the business segments Air Traffic Management (civil and military air traffic control, aeronautical information management, air defence) and Public Safety & Transport (police, fire and rescue services, emergency medical services, vessel traffic and railways). In Cluj we started in 2009 and our local team currently has 190+ colleagues and is growing.As part of our team, you will actively develop products in an international environment, where experienced people will help you further develop your skills and advance in your career.This position is all about testing a complex product, which is used in air traffic management, defense, and other regulated sectors, in an automated-functional-end-to-end manner.Work as a Test Automation Engineer on the test automation and verification of Frequentis’ Recording solution GuardX. Integrated in a multi-functional and multi-national development team and working in accordance with latest DevOps and agile practices, you will be responsible for all verification activities.Key Tasks

• Plan verification strategies and test specifications based on product requirements, software requirements and “use case” scenarios
• Develop and maintain automated test cases in accordance with the test specifications
• Review system and software requirements regarding their testability
• Ensure test case execution through integration of all developed test cases into the build chain
• In close coordination with other test engineers in other development teams, setup an adequate test reporting that provides the entire team with an accurate view of the products verification status at any point in time
• Perform initial analysis of any defects found, to determine the root cause of the observation in the system under test versus in the test procedure
• Create and maintain test environments and test data
• Keep a high level of quality assurance during the entire software development and testing process (all requirements must be tested and all test results must be documented).

Key Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on automated testing experience, using Java/JBehave
• Good knowledge of various testing types, test case creation
• Knowledge of a Test Management System
• Experience with Jenkins for continuous integration, including pipeline scripting
• End to end testing knowledge (both front and back-end testing)
• Able to translate technical content into comprehensible documents (English)
• Good knowledge of Windows operating system
• Basic proficiency in Linux/Unix command-line environment
• IP network skills
• Good English skills (both written and spoken)
• A relevant certification (like ISTQB) would be a plus
