Description du Poste

AWS Infrastructure Services est responsable de la conception, de la planification, de la livraison et de l’exploitation de l’ensemble de l’infrastructure mondiale d’AWS. En tant que responsable des opérations de transport, vous serez un acteur essentiel dans un environnement en constante évolution, collaborant avec des équipes diversifiées de spécialistes en logistique, d’ingénieurs et de responsables des opérations.

Responsabilités Clés

Gestion des Fournisseurs : Être le point d’escalade pour les problèmes liés aux fournisseurs de transport, gérer l’excellence opérationnelle à l’aide de métriques basées sur des données, et exécuter des stratégies de transport à court et long terme.
Amélioration de l’Automatisation : Influencer les équipes techniques internes pour effectuer des changements de processus inter-systèmes, proposer des solutions évolutives pour soutenir la croissance, et diriger les exigences des projets.

Dans ce rôle, vous serez amené à :

Communiquer quotidiennement avec les fournisseurs externes et les clients internes sur des questions opérationnelles et de sécurité.
Développer des pratiques exemplaires avec plusieurs parties prenantes.
Promouvoir l’amélioration continue tant en interne qu’en externe.
Assurer la conformité aux normes et règlements dans les opérations de transport.

Qualités Requises

Qualifications de Base

Diplôme de baccalauréat dans un domaine pertinent (Transport, Gestion de la sécurité, ou équivalent).
Plus de 3 ans d’expérience dans les opérations de transport.
Compréhension solide des réglementations de sécurité du transport.

Qualifications Préférées

Expérience dans les protocoles de sécurité de l’industrie du cloud computing.
Capacité prouvée à influencer les changements culturels en matière de sécurité.
Expérience en gestion de transport et de fournisseurs dans le cadre de transports internationaux.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an agile and driven team while ensuring the highest standards of services and safety compliance.An ideal candidate has a background in transportation operations, with excellent data-driven problem resolution skills. They should have experience in vendor management and process design and improvement projects. The role requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.Key job responsibilities
VENDOR MANAGEMENT

Act as point of escalation for transportation vendor related issues
Manage vendor operational excellence through data driven metrics
Implement and execute transportation strategies that support short and long term goals

AUTOMATION ENHANCEMENT

Influence internal technical teams to drive multi-system process changes
Provide scalable solutions for continued growth
Set project requirements and drive agendas across internal and external teams

A day in the life
In this role you will:

Daily tactical communication with external vendors (Logistics Service Providers) and internal customers on operational and safety matters
Work with multiple stakeholder teams to develop and implement new best practices
Drive continuous improvement in the operational environment internally and externally
Ensure compliance with standards and regulations across transportation operations

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Transportation, Safety Management, or related)
3+ years’ experience in transportation operations
Strong understanding of transportation safety regulations and compliance requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in cloud computing industry safety protocols
Track record of implementing successful safety initiatives
Transport and vendor management experience in international transportation (Air, ground, ocean)
Proven ability to influence safety culture change
