Thomson Reuters recrute un Digital News Assistant Producer pour renforcer l’équipe en ligne de Reuters Japon. Ce rôle est centré sur la sélection et la diffusion d’articles et de vidéos d’actualité en japonais, destinés à divers portails de nouvelles et réseaux sociaux, tels que Google News Showcase, YouTube et TikTok. Responsabilités Principales
Le candidat retenu aura diverses responsabilités, notamment :
- Curatage des articles d’actualité Reuters pour des partenaires de médias sociaux et des portails d’information.
- Sélection et mise en ligne d’articles et de contenus multimédias destinés à des clients majeurs de médias numériques.
- Assistance dans les opérations du site jp.reuters.com.
- Gestion de la saisie de données et d’autres tâches assignées par l’équipe éditoriale.
- Maintien de l’administratif à travers MS Excel, incluant le suivi des performances et la réalisation d’analyses de données.
- Accomplissement de tâches supplémentaires selon les besoins.
Profil Recherché
Pour réussir dans ce rôle, les qualifications requises incluent :
- Expérience dans le domaine de l’actualité et du journalisme; une expérience en salle de rédaction est un atout.
- Maîtrise de la langue japonaise, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit; la capacité de lire et communiquer en anglais est également nécessaire.
- Familiarité avec divers outils de mise en ligne et réseaux sociaux.
- Compétences avancées en MS Excel pour la gestion et l’analyse de données.

📝 Description du poste : Digital News Assistant Producer (12 Month Fixed-Term Contract)Thomson Reuters is seeking a Digital News Assistant Producer to contribute to the Reuters Japan online team. You will be responsible for curating Reuters articles in Japanese and Japanese-subtitled Reuters news videos for a third-party news portal service such as Google News Showcase and social networking service handles such as YouTube and TikTok to compete in a highly competitive online news environment.The successful candidate must have strong news judgement and the technical skills to handle curation and uploading tasks. Proficiency in written Japanese is also a must. You are also expected to work closely with online news team to maximise our audience outreach.About the RoleIn this opportunity as a Digital News Assistant Producer, you will:
- Curating Reuters news stories for our social media and news portal partners.
- Selecting and uploading articles and multimedia for major digital media customers of Reuters and various video platforms.
- Assisting and executing tasks pertaining to operation of jp.reuters.com.
- Data entry, distribution and other tasks as assigned by the Editorial news operation.
- Maintaining and updating administrative records and reports using MS Excel, including tracking metrics, creating spreadsheets, and performing data analysis to support the team’s operations
- Additional duties as assigned
About YouYou’re a fit for the role of Digital News Assistant Producer if you have the following required qualifications:
- Have a background in news and journalism. Experience in newsroom is a plus
- Proficient in reading/writing Japanese. Ability to read and communicate in English
- Have experience of using various uploaders, and are familiar with SNS
- Be proficient in MS Excel, with the ability to create and manage spreadsheets, track data, and perform basic data analysis
- Be a team player
