Description du poste

Rôle :
Le fonction d’ingénierie est cruciale dans l’atteinte des objectifs d’affaires. Elle englobe la création, le développement, la conception et l’amélioration des produits, équipements, et procédures dans tous les domaines de l’ingénierie. Le candidat idéal deviendra l’expert local en matière de plating pour les composants électroniques, avec une expérience reconnue en électroplacage.

Responsabilités clés :

• Expertise technique : Être le référent sur les matériaux et processus liés à des domaines clés de fabrication tels que le sputtering, l’électroplacage et la sérigraphie.
• Développement produit : Participer à la création de feuilles de route technologiques en collaboration avec les parties prenantes.
• Documentation : Rédiger des méthodologies de processus et créer des supports de formation.
• Amélioration continue : Proposer des améliorations pour optimiser la manufacturabilité des nouveaux et anciens designs.
• Collaboration : Travailler en étroite liaison avec les ingénieurs de fabrication et de qualité pour faciliter la prototypage.

Qualifications requises :

• Diplôme : Un Bachelor en ingénierie des matériaux ou chimique est requis; un Master est un atout.
• Expérience : Entre 5 et 10 ans dans le domaine, en tant qu’expert en électroplacage.
• Compétences linguistiques : Bilingue en anglais et espagnol.
• Connaissances techniques : Compréhension mature de la fabrication de composants électroniques, incluant la technologie Thick et Thin Film.
• Logiciels : Maîtrise des logiciels de CAO, notamment AutoCAD et SolidWorks, est souhaitée.

Includes the creation, development, design, and improvement of products, equipment, facilities, services, standards, and procedures in all engineering fields.Local subject matter expert in plating as related to electronic components with proven experience in electroplating (rack and barrel)Experience with key wafer processes such as screen printing and sputtering as related to electronic component manufacturing.Provide guidance, application knowledge and training as required to support local activities in the factory.Liaison with engineering team in other FOCOM facilities, helping to transfer key product, process and applications knowledge as required.ResponsibilitiesSubject matter expert for materials and processes relating to key manufacturing areas including sputtering, electroplating and screen printing.Participate in the development of product and process technology roadmaps, in support of cross-functional stakeholdersDocument process methodology as required and create training materials required for transfer to operations.Support cross functional design reviews including requirements definition, manufacturability assessments, and application of materials.Propose enhancements to new and existing product designs to optimize manufacturability.Coordinate with on-site manufacturing and quality engineers to facilitate initial build and prototyping of products developed by the design team.Interface with suppliers to evaluate new materials and equipment as required.Ability to perform root cause analyses utilizing established problem-solving tools and methodologies.Proactively identify project risks and mitigation plans to accelerate the development cycle and ensure delivery commitments are met.Provide hands-on technical support to organizational stakeholders including Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing and SalesParticipate in and contribute to team training, development, mentoring, on-boarding and auditsQualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree – Materials or Chemical Engineering.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience as a subject matter expert in plating as related to electronic components with proven experience in electroplating (rack and barrel).
• PMP certification a plus.
• Professional certification preferred.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Must have a mature understanding of Electronic Component Manufacturing including Thick and Thin Film technology with key processes such as screen printing, sputtering and plating.
• Familiarity with material characterization equipment such as: XRF, X-Ray, Profilometer, Viscometers and RGA.
• Ability to clearly communicate and discuss technical concepts in English and Spanish across multiple levels of the organization.
• Familiarity with military and industry standards and other relevant specification.
• Proficiency with CAD software including 3D solid modeling, AutoCAD and SolidWorks highly desirable.
• Ability to analyze complex problems using data-driven approach and define solutions.
• Knowledge of RF, digital, fiber optic, and power interconnects a plus.
