Le Rôle :
Le Part 21 Senior Electrical/Avionics Engineer contribuera à l’avenir des modifications d’avions au sein de Boeing, en rejoignant une équipe de premier plan. Ce rôle, basé à Istanbul, offre des options de travail hybride et implique des déplacements nationaux et internationaux.
Responsabilités clés :
- Collaboration avec l’équipe d’ingénierie mondiale, en identifiant les besoins et solutions pour différents projets.
- Contribution au développement et à la conformité des conceptions, en résolvant les questions relatives à l’équipement électrique et avionique.
- Expertise dans au moins un domaine de conformité électrique relevant de la partie 21J DOA.
- Élaboration de la documentation d’ingénierie pour assurer la continuité de la navigabilité.
- Accompagnement des ingénieurs moins expérimentés dans la constitution des documents de certification.
- Responsabilité du développement de processus au sein de l’ingénierie électrique.
- Représentation de Boeing lors de réunions clients essentielles.
Qualifications de base :
- Baccalauréat en ingénierie électrique, aéronautique ou dans un domaine connexe.
- Cinq ans d’expérience pertinente au sein d’une organisation de conception EASA.
Compétences et expérience souhaitées :
- Connaissance approfondie des exigences réglementaires EASA, y compris (E)TSO et CS-25.
- Précision et intégrité professionnelle avec une capacité à prioriser les charges de travail.
- Aptitude à travailler en équipe tout en valorisant des valeurs fondamentales telles que l’honnêteté et la transparence.
- Expérience en tant qu’ingénieur de vérification de conformité EASA (CVE) est un atout.

We will support you to develop your already substantial skills and encourage you to reach your career goals.The successful candidate will analyze, define, and generate the documentation for the certification of complex large aircraft modifications for our global airline partners to demonstrate compliance with relevant regulatory and customer requirements and procedures defined in the company’s Design Organization Handbook (DOH).You will work closely with segment experts, Office of Airworthiness, and Authorities to ensure guideline understanding, design strategy, and certification.This role is based in our BGS EASA Modifications site in Istanbul, Turkiye. Hybrid working options are available. Travel to other sites is expected with occasional international travel.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reporting to the Engineering Multi Skill Manager and working with the global engineering services team, across multiple time-zones, to identify requirements and their associated solutions for active and upcoming projects.
- Contribute to (and lead) design activities to ensure compliance with design requirements, and address certification and design/integration issues relating to electrical/avionic equipment and systems changes as part of large aircraft modifications.
- Be a subject-matter expert in at least one electrical area of compliance within part 21J DOA.
- Having extensive experience of part 21G POA and MRO process and regulations, that interface with part 21J DOA, for the purpose of A/C modification.
- Having extensive experience in the preparation and compilation of engineering documentation and instructions for continued airworthiness including:
- Wiring diagrams.
- Wire routing installation drawings, and harness fabrication drawings.
- Service Bulletins/accomplishment instructions.
- Aircraft and component manual ICA supplements including wiring diagram manuals, system schematic manuals, and EWIS assessments.
- Guide the less experienced engineer in the compilation of certification documents to demonstrate compliance with relevant electrical systems related airworthiness requirements including:
- Electrical load analysis documents.
- Test plans and reports.
- Compliance Statements.
- System Safety, Equipment Qualification, and EWIS documents.
- Compliance checklists.
- Certification programs.
- Be responsible for electrical engineering unit-wide process development, contribute to establishment and maintenance of engineering strategy.
- Act as Boeing key representative during customer meetings such as Initial Technical Coordination Meeting, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review and First Article Inspection in support of active and up-coming projects. Provide additional on-site support to assist the customers during the embodiment phase of the project.
This role will require occasional national and/or international travel to visit teammates, customers, and subcontractors.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree within Electrical/Avionics/ Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum five years relevant experience within an EASA Design Organisation (or equivalent).
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Current or recent employment within the aerospace industry specifically working with an EASA Part 21J Design Organisation (or equivalent) is essential.
- Able to demonstrate a comprehensive working knowledge of EASA regulatory and airworthiness requirements including (E)TSO, CS-25, JAR-25 and FAR-25 requirements (relevant to the electrical/avionics discipline).
- Knowledge and experience of aircraft equipment qualifications and avionic modifications aircraft integrations.
- A high level of attention to detail and professional integrity.
- Ability to prioritize workloads and show flexibility to changing situations/demands.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers to embody the core values of the business: Honesty, Integrity and Transparency.
- Willing and able to help develop, mentor, and coach less experienced staff.
- Previous experience as an EASA Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE).
- 9 years relevant experience within an EASA Design Organisation (or equivalent).
As a lead:
- Current or recent appointment as an EASA Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) with terms of approval relevant to the electrical, avionics and/or software disciplines is essential.
- Experience navigating OEM data systems for specifications and standards.
- Experience in technical leadership of large and complex aircraft modification projects (or similar scope projects within the aviation industry).
