Exigences de qualification

Pour réussir dans ce poste, les candidats doivent posséder :

  • Un diplôme de secondaire minimum et idéalement, un diplôme en ingénierie électronique ou industrielle.
  • Un minimum de cinq ans d’expérience dans la fabrication électronique ou électromécanique, de préférence dans des zones de production en régimes spéciaux.
  • Au moins cinq ans d’expérience dans un rôle de leadership.

Our expertise is the design and manufacture of communications-based specialty products – engineered components and subsystems – for demanding military, space, commercial aerospace/industrial, and telecom infrastructure applications where function and reliability are crucial.Description:This position is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and leading the activities of a production team and manufacturing/manufacturing engineer.Essential Functions:

  • Establishes operational standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety and complete on-time delivery of assigned product groups.
  • Leads and develops production supervisor, process/manufacturing engineer
  • Directs and supports all manufacturing lean initiatives.
  • Contributes to and supports the short and long-term planning and process improvement plans by using tools such as GDP, project management and Kaizen events.
  • Directs the manufacturing operations of assembly and test for sub-assemblies and finished products.
  • Supports and works closely with the quality assurance department.
  • Supports the compliance of all AS9100 and ISO requirements.
  • Develops and supports safety initiatives and guidelines.
  • Promotes and maintains positive employee relations.
  • Works closely with finance department to address and resolve cost variations.
  • Responsible for profit and loss (budget) of assigned departments.
  • Directs and works closely with the materials planning associate to ensure continuous work flow.
  • Supervises the allocation of material, labor and equipment resources.
  • When applicable, works and interfaces directly with the customer to ensure the accurate and timely exchange of information and status.
  • Suggestions and recommendations as to the hiring, firing, advancement, promotion, or any other change of status of other employees are given great weight.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (oral and written) with the ability to communicate within all levels of the organization.
  • Experience developing employees who are in leadership and technical roles.
  • Technical skills in lean manufacturing techniques, Kaizen, process improvement, materials management and production scheduling.
  • Experience in creating and managing a departmental budget.
  • Computer and Microsoft Office literate (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Experienced user of ERP systems (IFS, Peoplesoft, Macola, SAP, etc.).
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of disciplines in a dynamic environment.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role, preferably in a technical field required.
