Main Duties : Attributions Principal

• Délivrance des soins sociaux : Prendre en charge des cas attribués, élaborant des plans axés sur les résultats, tout en tenant compte des besoins et risques des enfants et de leurs familles.
• Relations avec les enfants et familles : Développer des relations efficaces pour améliorer l’impact des interventions tout en tenant compte des avis des bénéficiaires.
• Pratique fondée sur des preuves : Évaluer les besoins des familles et déterminer les ressources nécessaires, conformément aux politiques et procédures des conseils.
• Suivi de la performance : Maintenir des objectifs de performance conformes aux normes nationales, incluant la supervision régulière.
• Audit régulier : Participer aux activités d’audit afin de garantir des pratiques sociales de haute qualité.
• Inclusivité : Assurer que les besoins des utilisateurs sont abordés, avec une attention particulière aux questions d’égalité.
• Collaboration inter-agences : Établir des relations de travail avec des partenaires comme les écoles, la police, et les agences de santé.
• Gestion des cas : Transférer efficacement les cas vers d’autres services en suivant un plan clair.
• Développement de services : Contribuer à l’évolution des services pour les enfants et familles et participer aux réunions d’équipe.
• Polyvalence : Assurer des remplacements pour d’autres membres de l’équipe et prendre en charge des projets supplémentaires.

Exigences pour le Poste

• Formation : Être titulaire d’un diplôme en travail social ou équivalent.
• Connaissance législative : Comprendre la législation pertinente en matière de protection de l’enfance.
• Inscription : Être enregistré ou éligible à l’inscription.

📝 Description du poste : 201178Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Senior Social Worker within the Safeguarding & Family Support Team to work full time based in Slough.The salary for this permanent Senior Social Worker job is up to £55,852 per annum.Main duties:

• Responsible for undertaking social work on allocated cases producing outcome based plans, having regard to the needs of, and risks to, children and their families.
• To develop effective relationships with CYP and their families to improve impact of work and determine the level of service available ensuring written plans are agreed with the CUP and their families and reflect their views.
• To determine, using evidence based practice how these needs will be met subject to resources, statutory responsibilities, within the framework of council policies and procedures.
• To be responsible for effective Individual performance in line with national standards and performance indicators, including receiving regular supervision.
• Responsible for participating in routine auditing activity across the service to secure the highest possible standards of social work practice and record keeping and to act in accordance with requirements of the Quality Assurance Framework.
• To ensure that the needs of service users/carers from all communities are addressed, and that close attention is paid to equalities issues in all aspects of work. To ensure access to translation and interpretation services as necessary.
• With the agreement of the Social Work Team Manager/Practice Manager, to identify resources required and available to promote child/family wellbeing.
• To develop and maintain effective working relationships at appropriate levels with other relevant partner agencies e.g. voluntary, community, schools, police, health other statutory agencies/local resource networks and internal partners.
• To work effectively move casework to other areas of service as appropriate with a clear transfer plan.
• To contribute to the development of services to children and families and to attend and contribute positively to team meeting to promote the delivery of integrated and effective services.
• To provide cover for the work of other team members and undertake projects and other additional duties commensurate with the level of the job.

Requirements of this Senior Social Worker role:

• A social Work Qualification or equivalent.
• Understanding of relevant legislation.
• Registered or eligible for registration.
